Loved it, highly recommended.

My first dive into the Hellboy universe, and definitely worth the time.

Kicked off my current fad of reading old-fashioned styled fairy tales
Books I DEVOURED! Sleep be damned.
Highly anticipated books that DELIVERED!
so far... I'm still reading.

Highly anticipated books that DELIVERED!

I just noticed all three books have strong female characters.

Fat Farm
I also really enjoyed these two books.
Something in the Water
Dark Run

2. A Closed and Common Orbit - not as good as the first one in my opinion, but still amazing
3. Circe - I really need to delve into greek mythology more, it's so fascinating

Honourable mentions:
1. White Hot - restored my balance after Malazan
2. Theft of Swords was also light, smart and funny.
Last, but not least, while I am continuing with The Fox into June (I cannot stop reading after the last plot twist!), I can see already that it is going to be as good if not better than its predecessor which was one of the best hidden gems on Goodreads that I discovered thanks to FBR. :)

Knee-Deep in Grit: Two Bloody Years of Grimdark Fiction - Still reading, but these stories have been pretty intriguing.
The Monster at the End of this Book - I got this for my grandson and read it to him. Loved it as a kid and thought he would too (he's 4). He did, enough to make me read it to him several times and he even "read" it back to me.

The Monster at the End of this Book was my absolute favorite growing up. I seriously need to buy that for my kids.

He still loved it though.

Two received a 4.5 stars (rounded up): City of Stairs and No Good Dragon Goes Unpunished. Both are in my favorite shelves!
All Systems Red - 5/5 stars
Artificial Condition - 4.5/5 stars
White Hot - 4/5 stars
Everything else I read was just meh. :)

1) Smart kid
2) I like that you put that in spoilers, as if the people on this thread would be upset that a Sesame Street book was "spoiled" for them. That seriously made me laugh too hard.

Wrath of Empire - a novel
The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars Part One - a graphic novel
Fandom for Robots - a short story

I started Kushiel's Mercy with two days left in May so it bled over into June but that was a five star read for me too.
Two, back-to-back five star reads for me...I don't think that's ever happened to me since I joined GR and started tracking this stuff.
Honorable mention goes to Force of Nature.
Night of Cake & Puppets
Dreams of Gods and monsters
The Bellmaker
