Hi everyone! May is finished, school is out, and it's officially summer! Don't forgot to come to library to get information about our summer reading programs for all ages. And now on to the books, this month I read....
Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah- This was the Last Chapter Book Club book of the month. I really enjoyed this memoir. Trevor has some truly hilarious stories he shares, as well as some heartwarming and sad ones. It was really cool to see how much he owes to his mom and how special their relationship is.
Chasing Helicity by Ginger Zee- I give this book a solid "it was ok." I wasn't overly impressed, but it was still an entertaining story. It was interesting to see the more adult themes that were intertwined and I would definitely say it's a middle grades age range book. I am excited to see where the series goes with this story too.
