I love that we got Irina's POV as well, it makes it more interesting.
Poor Lorelai though.... first Gabril and now Leo?? Why Leo though... :( I'm super sad about his death, at least of he was captured or possessed ok, there would have been a way to bring him back, but killed? :( I hate Irina >.< (hide spoiler)]

Question: she sacrificed her exposure to save her mentor, why didn't she do that to save her brother (LEO). He is my favorite character. Bring him back!!!

Please don't tell me Leo is dead, I refuse to believe till the end. Anyways, not-suppose-to-be-king,Kol, makes a bargain for the safety of his people with his life (that's how I see it) obviously, he won't kill the princess, let see if the princess can save him. (hide spoiler)]

I liked how she twisted the original story, so that the final kiss was not cheesy, and did not undermine her in any way, and actually was powerful and romantic. I wish we saw their marriage as will or something. Hopefully we will see them in the next books (hide spoiler)]

Wow! Action packed and very interesting. So glad nobody else died but still sad about Leo's death. Anyways, I always knew that Loraelai will fall in love with Kol (hide spoiler)]

To answer your question, she does not know that she can bring someone back to life, not that she didn't want to help Leo. She just wanted to save him from those branches get him to safety and help. But she did not know that she was strong enough to save him and fight Irina at the same time. No one knew. (hide spoiler)]
