What's So Great About...Third Quarter 2018? Quarterly Challenge
Humid Level 4 - 6 per category
How It Works:
★This will be a multi part challenge, so pick your level, then pick your books.
★NO DUPLICATING BOOK OR TASK ENTRIES!! Books and Tasks are only to be used/listed/completed once! An example of this would be reading a book with a lit candelabra on the cover for the "Read a book that has a candle on the cover" task, and then reading a different book with someone holding a single lit candle on the cover, justifying it by saying that it is two different candles. Once you complete the "Read a book that has a candle on the cover" task, it can't be completed a second time to complete the category.
★This is one large challenge, not five little ones! IF YOUR POST DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL FIVE PARTS OF THE CHALLENGE IT WILL BE DELETED! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
★Books must be read from July 1st to September 30th
★Re-reads are allowed, but all books must be at least 50 pages in length!
★When using titles in the Spell Out Tasks, the words A, And, An, and The do not count.
★You CAN change your Books at any time during the challenge.
Some Info to Keep In Mind:
♦Keep your original post updated and give a shout out in the thread when you're all done! Please do not make a separate post with your finished challenge, edit your original comment! This is so I can keep accurate track of participation. You can make an announcement post like "Finished in comment #2!", so I know where to find your completed challenge to congratulate you! Duplicate posts will be deleted!
♦Mark books as finished by adding the date finished next to the book listed and either striking them out using the "< s> < /s>" HTML commands (without the spaces) or by copying and pasting a checkmark: ✔ ✓
♦Add a tally of completed books to your Original Post= 0/5 completed!
♦Each Category has a different number of tasks in it, they are not all the same number of tasks! Plan your lists accordingly!
See my post for examples and if you have questions, PLEASE ask me here, or PM me!

Many thanks go out to Meg for suggesting that we change the merged TCF Monthly challenge into a quarterly one! This is a trial run, so it needs YOUR participation to continue! Reading and listing just ONE book in your post counts as participating!
Levels:
Warm: 1-3 tasks per category
Humid: 4-6 tasks per category
Hot: 7-9 tasks per category
Scorching: 10-12 tasks per category

Congrats!
We'll have to see if it sticks around into 2019 though...participation was right on the edge this time around, and if it slips just the tiniest bit for Fourth Quarter, it will get axed.

Aw- that would be a bummer. I get it though. I can only imagine how time consuming this all is.

It is very time consuming, and that's with using copy/paste for a lot of it! If it has low participation, I can focus my time on coming up with something else or on existing challenges, instead of a challenge that no one is enjoying but me and a few others. Just makes more sense to me to do that, instead of keeping a challenge around for nostalgia's sake.
