Chapter 6-10 (view spoiler)[ wow i still hate valentine.first he kills the silent brothers then he steals the sword.feel sorry for clary and jace with how they feel about each other.and hate the selfie queen as well.Oh no,Simon turned into a vampire.wonder if that happened cause of the jealousy he felt when clary and jace kissed. Chapter 11-15 (view spoiler)[ who sent that dravac demon.poor maia got hurt.why is Alec so averse to anyone knowing he is dating Magnus.and lol the Magnus,Alec,Clary,Simon and Jace answering nothing in unison to Luke was funny.this issue with valentine is soo messed up what happened on the ship anyway.Wow Imogen has it out for jace cause he is Valentine's son and it caused her son to die (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 16-18 (view spoiler)[ wow valentine is so mean,taking simon and maia,and expecting clarissa to just agree with whatever he say.like uh you expect her to let you choose who her friends are?jace's abilities are equally interesting.what simon really died?nuuu.oh and a floating car boat :p.serves imogen right for not trusting jace and now being taught a lesson by valentine and maryse.thank god the rest of the shadowhunters got to the boat in time. (view spoiler)[I hate that jace calls Valentine ‘my father’ all the time. He should just call him valentine. I guess it’s because he raised him so now that he’s told him that he isn’t Michael Wayland’s son, it’s just what he associates but still. I’m very glad Clary just calls him Valentine. NO ONE should be claiming that evil man as a father. (hide spoiler)]

Ch.18(view spoiler)[lol I still love the part where the inquisitor is made to look like such a fool even tho it’s truly sad that Valentine would be okay with his child dying rather than give up the mortal instruments. But duh, not a shocker to anyone but you Imogen! The only good thing Valentine did was confirm that Jace wasn’t his spy. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I love the part where Jace saves Simon! And such a relief the awkward Simon/Clary dating portion is over and they’re back to being friends. That forced dating wasn’t any better this time around. It just felt sad since it’s clear Clary feels brotherly toward Simon, she even states it, and Simon deserves someone who is truly in love with him. Love that Simon is a daylighter now too. Can’t wait to continue rereading the series! (hide spoiler)]
