I couldn't agree with you more. One of my all time favorite series. Oh, I wish, I wish, there was a Part II series in the works. Maybe if we begged and pleaded :)

Wouldn't it be great if Santino and Ais wrote about the next stage of Boyd and Sin's life in the Agency as Captains? I get goosepumps just thinking about it.

I thought that too, until I read 1/27 an icos anthology. Then I got this crazy scenario in my head where Hsin's brother finds and begs Hsin and Boyd for help against the Agency who is trying to destroy him. In exchange, he has to provide a safe place for them to hide and financial assistance to find and convince the others to return to help break out Emilio and Carhart from prison and then take down the Agency once and for all. Luke, Doug and Ann, who still work for the Agency, can help from the inside. And, one last thing, Hsin's cold and heartless brother finds himself reluctantly falling in love, maybe with someone they rescue from the prison while breaking out Emilio and Carhart. Then they take over the Agency. Crazy huh?

Logical part of me knows that it's stupid and it is simply impossible to not like it anymore but well...

Hahaha! I was going to work like a freaking zombie but I read it all in under a week. Who needs sleep, right? :D
(...) someone needs a bionic eye. Come on...fix him!!!
Exactly! It was the only thing that I didn't like. I was like "Huh, but why...?" . Couldn't justify it in any way. He was already in a losing position because he wasn't enhanced and in 1/27 his disability was presented even more.

I know how you feel! I'm afraid I won't like it either. Didn't stop me from downloading though :)

Hope they will think hard about continuation of ICoS (I think it was mentioned in 1/27). Then I will DEFINITELY read :D

I had ICoS 2 craving for a while then. And I can't remember what I started to read that took my mind away from it. It had to be quite good... ;D

I'm sure it had to have some sort of edge/angst to it.

I could read Bareback after ICoS. It's totally different but maybe that was the key :P

When the books are too fluffy and sappy, the guys end up being "chicks with dicks". If I want that, I'll go grab a m/f romance novel :)

Dammit, bloody spoilers :/
Well, it's been over a year since I read it but I don't remember it being "fluffy and sappy".
The book broke my heart because I didn't know what to expect when I started reading. And I loved the boys. BOTH of them. It's really worth reading. And it's got HEA, don't worry :)
And the second book is calmer but also quite good. It's a good long epilogue to the story ;)

Soooo true. Too much of it and my teeth hurt. I don't even like it in m/f books. I'm still looking for a perfect m/f book where a girl won't whine and will have balls (metaphorically of course) ;D

I'll let you know if I can think of more.
Hope this helps.
