Bit of a masochist I suppose because no one likes country and a lot don't like female vocals, but here goes anyway. From the excellent album The River & The Thread, I love this sultry, bluesy number which gives the divine Bobbie Gentry a run for her money and even references "the Tallahatchie Bridge". And John Leventhal's guitar work is pretty good too.

I think his first album, I Trust You To Kill Me, is really good (though be aware, most of it is more up-tempo than Favor). The only track I like on his second album is I Trust You To Kill Me! The man certainly knows how to rock out with a slide guitar.

Well done to all the winners....as fer me, I wonder what i'd have got, if I'd managed to get my Door hung up, a moment or two earlier?! Fancy that eh...a pair of doors turning up at the same time! But When the Music's Over is much better than either of them.

I'm quite partial to The Lizard King's music, so Riders is okay with me...but the sheer emotive power of The End, wins it hands down for me.
