Romance Lovers for the Challenge-Impaired discussion

This month's theme is all about our faithful canine companions. Did you know that at the American Kennel Club dogs are exhibited in seven groups organized by the original work the breeds were created to do? This month we'll have seven categories corresponding with the seven dog groups.

> RULES: Choose from the list below, selecting a category more than once, if you desire. Also, there is the Spell-It-Out Option. Or you may do a bit of both!

LEVELS:

1-2 - Easy
3-5 - Medium
6-9 - Harder
10 or more - Hardest

Categories:

 Sporting Group: These breeds were created to assist hunters on feathered game. Read a sports romance or a book where one of the main characters is a sports fan.

 Hound Group: These dogs use explosive speed and wide vision to give chase or their excellent noses to trail their quarry. Read a book where one of the main characters is a detective, is trying to solve a mystery, or trying to find treasure!

 Working Group: These dogs pull sleds, do rescue work or guard duty. Read a workplace/office romance or one of the main characters is a first responder or bodyguard.

  Terrier Group: These dogs were bred to pursue rodents underground. Terriers often described as feisty and energetic. Read a book with great banter or where the hero or heroine is in pursuit (they try to seduce or convince the other MC that they belong together.)

  Toy Group: Small enough to fit comfortably in the lap of their adored humans, these dogs were bred to be companions. Read a children's book or a book where one of the MCs is a parent, paid companion, or a courtesan.

 Herding Group: These breeds move livestock and work closely with shepherds. Read a book where one of the characters is in charge of a group of people. Examples: a manager, director, teacher, guide, etc...

 Non-Sporting: These breeds have two things in common: wet noses and four legs.
This is a miscellaneous category, read any book that doesn't fit into any of the previous ones!

  Spell-It-Out: You can use the book title, series, character's name, or the author's name. Disregard The, A, An in the title. Example:
