Up Next:

I want to read The Lacemaker too! I love Laura Frantz writing, it's so beautiful and engaging! I have to bump it up to next months reading list. :-)

Hope to read:

Ooo, Loraine, I loved Many Sparrows - hope you enjoy! :)

Katrina you have some great books in your plan!

Hope to read:

Beth I am almost 2/3 of the way through it and it's excellent.

I plan to finish:

I hope to read and pass on:

So here is crossing fingers for being ambitious this month with work and school starting. Happy reading everyone!

And August's book:

Sadly, I was unable to get No Less Days from any of the libraries I have access to (most of the libraries in the state) and I don't currently have any book budget. Unlike so many of my reading friends here and elsewhere, I am not a fan of most romance books, so am passing on the other monthly read (I did like a couple of Cathy Hake's books on audio, though, including one not yet read here, but I have nominated a different book for October).
Books I'd like to read this month:

series to advance on:

hopefully also,

and on the list again to try and read

If I get garden stuff harvested; I will have better luck

Of Cape Refuge by Terri Blackstock.
My friend loaned me the series so I am enjoying the luxury of being able to read the series in order and not having to wait for the next book!

I enjoyed this one a lot - you're right, it is a perfect summer read. :)

I chose it because I generally really enjoy Denise Hunter's books and because it was on audiobook from my library. My Library has a new Libby app on my phone which is very user friendly, especially with audiobooks. Audiobooks help me get to the gym, exercise outside or
when I'm doing housework. I just strap my phone to my arm- I have an Iphone neoprene holder kind of thing. It keeps my brain engaged in something fun while I'm doing something not so fun :) haha!

I haven't tried the Libby app yet. I hear it is super user friendly though! I've been using the Overdrive app on my phone to listen to audiobooks, but I think I might see what the Libby app is like...
I am with you on audiobooks making doing certain things easier - especially exercise and cleaning! :D
