Joy (audioaddict1234) Among others, I’m finally reading Ben-Hur. I actually started this on vacation last month but just read a little at a time. Now that I’ve finished all my monthly goals and not quite ready to start on next month’s book club and group reads, I decided to go ahead and finish this one.

I didn't do too bad this month - it has been hectic to say the least between work, school starting, a little family crisis, and projects around the house.

But I finished: Beartown (Beartown, #1) by Fredrik Backman , The Cumberland Bride (Daughters of the Mayflower #5) by Shannon McNear , When Never Comes by Barbara Davis , To Capture What We Cannot Keep by Beatrice Colin , and 223 Orchard Street by Renee Ryan .

I have just started, so I will carry these over to September: Daughters of the Night Sky by Aimie K. Runyan , Water from My Heart by Charles Martin , and Hotel on Shadow Lake by Daniela Tully
