I park the car and reach over to cup his face. "I didn't want to leave either. I really enjoyed being with you when if it was a rough month and a half for you. I love being around you." I tell him with a smile and lean over to kiss him.

I smiled and kissed her back softly it made me glad to hear. I was honestly terrified she may leave but when she didn't I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders as I was able to just have someone to lean on. "I love you so goddamn much JoJo." I said softly.

Jojo

"Mmm love you too. So much." I whisper stroking his face with a soft smile. "Now let's get you upstairs, mister. You need some TLC and rest." I tell him as I get out of his car so we can head up to his... well our apartment now.

Illiad
I chuckled softly. "Sounds good to me love." I said smiling softly as we walked up to our apartment. I smiled softly and unlocked the door for us. Akia barked happily scrabbling over to see us.

Jojo

I smile and bend down to give Akia some love as she scrambles over to come see us. "Hey there, pretty girl. Did you miss us?" I say and laugh as she washes me down with doggie kisses.

Illiad
I laughed softly as JoJo was given a doggy face wash. I took off my jacket and shoes by the door shutting and locking it behind us. I smiled softly as Akia soaked up the attention.

I love on her a little more as Illiad takes off his jacket and shoes, locking the door behind us. I kiss her snout and stand up to take his hand, pulling him with me to his bedroom. I wanted to make sure he gets some rest.

Illiad
I chuckled softly and followed her pulling. I grinned at her softly. She really was the best. I kissed her softly before she pushed me on the bed.

He grins and kisses me as I push him down onto the bed. "Mmm no distracting me with kisses." I tease as I help get off his shirt so he can get comfy for his nap.

Illiad
"Accusing me of distracting you as you take advantage of my weakened state to get me naked?" I teased as she took off my shirt. "Scandalous accusations." I teased.

Jojo

He teases me of accusing him of distracting me as I take advantage of his weakened state to get him naked. I roll my eyes and laugh.

"Well I figured you would be more comfortable in you boxers. Of course you could always just sleep in your jeans if you are so worried of me taking advantage of you." I say playfully.

Illiad
"Eh no. Boxers definitely." I chuckled softly getting my jeans off. I chuckled softly and pulled her into bed with me

Jojo

He chuckles and says boxers definitely and strips off his jeans before he pulls me into his bed. I giggle a little as we plop down. "You got to give me a second to get comfy." I tell him wiggling out of his arms.

I strip off my jeans and sweater, leaving me in my tank top and panties. I crawl back into bed and snuggle up agianst him.

Illiad
I chuckled and held her close cuddling her into me as I pulled the blanket over us. Akia hopped onto the bed with us curling into a tight ball.

Jojo

I rest my head on his chest as he pulls the blanket over us. Akia hops up onto the bed with us and curls up into a ball at our feet. I sigh softly thinking this was perfect. I close my eyes a little relaxing against him.

Illiad
I smiled softly resting my head on the pillows holding her close to me...content and peaceful just with her near by where as my mind would usually be going in a million different directions.

Jojo

He relaxes and I stroke his arm lazily. "Get some sleep, handsome. You need it." I whisper to him as he holds me close to him.

Illiad
I hummed. "No need to tell me twice beautiful." I murmured firefly my eyes falling closed slowly the heavy lids sealing themselves shut.

Jojo

He hums and murmurs no need to tell him twice. His eyes shut and he falls asleep pretty quickly. I close my eyes and end up dozing off as well.

(Hmm maybe to when they tell Ash about his mother and how she hired someone to hurt Chey??)

I sighed softly standing outside of Ashton's door where I had been told he and Cheyenne were living together now and my heart felt heavy having to deliver this news.

Ash

I rest my head against Chey's as we watch her favorite tv show. I was glad to be back at our place and out of the hospital. Glad to try and get back to normal now that she was wake and okay.

Chey
I smiled and kissed his cheek as we watched justified together. I looked over at the door as there was a knock. "Are we expecting anyone Ash?" I asked confused.

Ash

I glance over as I hear the knock and Chey asks if we are expecting anyone. "Not that I know of." I tell her and get up to go get the door. I see Detective Dunn on the other side of the door.

"Hello detective. What can I do for you?" I ask him.

Dune
I smiled slightly at him. "Hello Ash, I have some news on the investigation...may I come in?" I asked him. I thought it would be best for him to be sitting down when I explained his mother hired a hit on his girlfriend.

Ash

"Oh sure." I say after he tells me he has some news on the investigation for Chey's accident. I let him in and introduce Chey to him. "Chey this is the detective looking into your case for what happened with your car the night of your accident."

Chey
"hello thank you for all the hard work your putting into this." I said smiling softly. He smiled at me politely and nodded. "Its my pleasure but... I have some good news...and some bad news what would you like to hear first?" He said looking between us.

Ash

I look at Chey and shrug. "I guess the bad news first so we can at least end on a good note." I tell him after he tells us he has some good and bad news for us.

Dune
I nodded as Chey agreed. "Your mother as been arrested as an accessory to murder and conspiracy to commit murder." I told him softly. I put my hands in my slack pockets, "Upon being arrested she had a mental break down.c I said softly. "She is being held in the psychiatric ward with guards under suicide watch."

Ash

I drop down onto the couch pressing my hands to my face as I process what he just told us. God, my mother. She really tried to kill Chey. I can't believe she would do something like that.

I wrapped my arms around him. Just being there for him I know Myra didn't like me but I...I never thought she would go as I get as to try to kill me.
"I'm so sorry Ash." I said softly resting my head on his shoulder.

Ash

Chey wraps her arms around me and I hold her to me as she says she is so sorry. Her head resting on my shoulder. I hold her a little closer and look at the detective. "What is the good news?" I ask him.

Dune
"The good news is that thanks to Chey's case we have been able to catch the man responsible for over thirty cold cases. And your mother may not be going to jail. She may be put under house arrest pending psychiatric evaluation. " I told him softly.

Ash

I guess that was better then nothing. A very bad man was going away and my mother might not be going to jail. I nod a little.

"Well I am glad that you caught the guy." I say trying to focus on the positives.

I rubbed his back in soothing circles. Dune nodded looking apologetic. "I am very sorry to bring the bad news but I thought it would be better to find out in person." I said softly.

Ash

She rubs my back in soothing circles. I hug her close to me and nod as she says she was sorry to bring the bed news but she thought it would be better for me to find out in person.

"I know... it just doesn't make it hurt any less. I never thought my mother would go that far just because she wasn't fond about you being with me." I tell her.

Chey
I shook my head. "I never thought she would go this far either." I said softly. I subbed his back gently.

I kiss her head a little and hold her close to me. "I'm sorry she did this to you." I tell her burying my face against her neck.

"Its not your fault love." I said softly stroking my fingers through his hair. He shouldn't apologize for his mother's actions the dective quietly let himself out.

Ash

She tells me it is not my fault. She strokes her fingers through my hair. "I know but still I should have known something was up." I say mad I could have stopped all this from happening.

Chey
"There's now away you could have known Ash I never thought your mom would go that far." I said softly.

Ash

"Still I should have suspected my mother was up to something when she didn't have a fit when I told her I was going to ask you to marry me. Hell I shouldn't have even told her." It kills to know my mother caused us so much pain.

Chey
"Blaming yourself for something you couldn't control won't help either Ash." I said gently. "You could have suspected all you wanted but you wouldn't have known for sure or even been sure you stopped whatever stunt she was going to pull off." I said softly.

Ash

"I know. I just hate that this all happened. I was so afraid I was going to lose you." I whisper holding her close me to me. She was my whole world and the fact that my mother tried to take her from me shook me to my core.

Chey
"I know love." I said softly. I climbed into his lap and hugged him tightly just being there for him as it all sunk in for him.

Ash

She tells me she knows and climbs into my lap as she hugs me tightly. I hug her close to me and kiss her forehead, her nose and then her lips softly.

Chey
I kissed him back softly cupping his cheeks gently. I love him so much and it tore me up seeing him in so much pain.

Ash

She kisses me back softly and cups my cheeks gently. I rest my forehead against hers as I take a deep breath. I try to relax. I mean all that really mattered was that Chey was safe and in my arms once again.

Chey
I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. "I'm here we are safe." I told him softly messaging his tense shoulders to help him relax a bit. "We're are okay love." I said softly.
