He says he wants to be with me forever so of course he wants me to be a part of his family. He kisses my cheek and smiles as he wipes my tears away.

"That makes me really happy." I whisper softly.

Illiad
I smiled softly. "It makes me really happy too." I said softly. I smiled at her softly. "You make me happy." I said smiling softly.

Jojo

I smile and lean up to kiss him before I smile. "Good." I say glad I make him happy. "Let's go eat." I say since his sister was done with setting the table.

Illiad
I hummed. "Lets." I said smiling softly putting everything in serving dishes before we carried it to the table. I smiled softly.
(I kind of have an idea that's kind of mean for Chey lol)

I smile and help him put out the food after we carry it over. We all sit down to eat and I am really happy to have dinner with them.

(Well I was looking for reference pictures of how I wanted chey to look and I wanted her to look innocent looks so I though 'hmmm how about snow white?' Then my brain went cool on we can have her dating this guy who's mother hates her and gets her put in the hospital in a coma some how!x so it's either poisoning or car crash.)

(Oooh that could be interesting! Poor Illiad through he is going to freak when that happens. Want me to whip up a guy for her??)

Chey
I grinned looking at my phone as I texted Ashton telling him I would be there to meet him at the restaurant in a few minutes. We had been dating for about six months now and his mom hasn't really warmed up to me...But I brushed it off Ashton is someone I had loved since ai was a kid. I hummed softly getting into my car and starting to drive towards the restaurant but something was wrong with my car... I couldn't stop and an kept going faster. I started to panic feeling out of control. I gripped the wheel tightly and called Ashton.

Ashton

I smile as I see that Chey had texted me she would be at the restaurant in a few minutes. We've been together for about six months but head known each other since we were kids. I've sort of always had a crush on her and finally got the courage to go for it with her.

Tonight was important though. After six months with her I knew I wanted to marry her. I was going to ask her tonight. We could have a long engagement if she wanted but I just wanted the world to know that this wonderful girl was mine.

I hear my phone buzz and see she is calling. I chuckle and pick up the phone. "What you couldn't wait to hear my voice that badly?" I tease.

Chey
"Well normally yes," I said trying to keep the panic out of my voice. "Ash....I can't slow or stop my car." I yelped as my wheel was suddenly jerked into on coming traffic. I struggled with it and and cried out as there was the sound of screeching tired metal hitting metal and glass breaking.

Ashton

She says normally she is and I can tell something isn't right. She tells me she can't slow or stop her car. She yelps and cries out. I hear noises and a screeching sound on the other end.

"Chey? Chey!" I call out before I am getting up. I tell the waiter my girlfriend was in an accident and I had to go. I tear out of there to my car to go find where she was. I text her brother along the way to let him what that something had happened.

Illiad
My phone started ringing and I groaned slightly as it threw off my piano playing. I picked it up seeing it was Ashton I grinned. "Hey Ash did Chey say yes?" I asked grinning as I put him on speaker.

Ash

Illiad picks up the phone as I pull up to the accident scene and asks me if Chey said yes.

"Illiad I need to you sit down okay. Chey called me will she was driving to the restaurant and was freaking out. Her car was acting funny and wouldn't slow down or break... her call cut out but it sounded like she crashed. I texted you the directions." I tell him and my voice cracks a little.

"I'm here and it... it looks bad, Illiad. Her car is pretty messed up. I haven't seen her yet. The firefighters and paramedics as trying to get her out of the car still."

Illiad
My smile slowly faded and my limbs felt cold. Chey was in an accident.... It looked back he hasn't seen her yet. "I'm on my way. I'll call mom and dad their on emergency room duty tonight if the paramedics try to stop you tell them that Dr Ire Salvador ordered u
You to ride with her understand?" I said firmly getting up and scrambling with everything hopping into my shoes as I ordered Akia to heel. I walked over to JoJo as and knocked urgently on the door

Ash

He tells me he is on his way and that he'll call their parents. He adds if the paramedics try to stop you tell them that Dr Ire Salvador ordered me to ride with her.

"I got it." I tell him as I watch them finally get the car door open. I walk over to the police and explain that I am her boyfriend. They let me through after a minute and my heart drops seeing Chey so pale and covered in blood. The paramedics strap her to a board and lift her up heading to the ambulance.

I tell them that I am her boyfriend and I want to ride with her. That her family would be waiting for her at the hospital. They nod and let me in as we take off to the hospital. Let her be alright. Please.

Jojo

I heard someone knocking on the door rapidly and walk over to open it. I see Illiad and smile but it fades seeing how worried he looked. "What's wrong?" I ask him.

Illiad
"Chey was just in a car wreck, I need you to watch Akia for me. I have to hurry and get down to the hospital." I said grimly. Ashton said her car was pretty wreck I just...I hoped that chey was okay. I was a bit shaken but I held myself together with an iron fist. I had to keep myself together my baby sister needed me.
Ire
My phone went off and my brow furrowed seeing Ashtons name pop up. "Ashton?" I asked confused

Jojo

He tells me Chey was in a car wreak and he needed me to watch Akia for him. "Of course." I tell him softly and cup his face for a moment. I lean in and kiss him softly before I let him go.

"Just be safe and text me updates." I tell him, hoping she was okay.

Ash

I swallow as I have to deliver the new to her parents. "Chey was in a car accident, sir. It... it was pretty bad. I'm ride with her to the hospital right now." I tell him.

Illiad
I kissed her back softly. "I will. I love you." I said softly kissing her one last time before making my mad dash down stairs to my car.
Ire
My fingers gripped the phone tighter...my little girl. "have the paramedics said anything?" I said snapping into doctor mode my baby girl needed me right now. My wife and I started jogging down the hall heading to the abulance bay.

He kisses me back and says he will and he loves me. "Love you too." I say softly as he kisses me once more before he hurries out to his car. I walk over and bring Akia over to my place. She curls up with me seeming down too. She could probably sense her master was upset.

"It's alright, girl. I'm sure she is going to be okay. She is a strong girl." I says as I pet her head.

Ash

"They said she lost a lot of blood. They think she hit her head on the steering wheel because the air bag didn't go off." I tell him as we pull up to the hospital. "They said she was stable for the moment."

Chey
My head hurt or was it my body? I think it's both... I opened ,y eyes slowly as I was rushed out of an ambulance. I whimpered around the tube in my throat but let it breathe for me because I couldn't at the moment I saw mom and dad talking over me. I saw Ash pale and grim. Ashy y should never have that expression. O twitched my hand but it was pure agony.

Ash

I explained what happened to her parents from the phone call to arriving at the scene. Jeez she looked so small and fragile laying there as they roll her into the emergency room dock. All I could do was hope that she was going to be okay.

Ire
My wife and I ran along beside the gurney as Illiad came skidding up along side of us. It was bad that much I could tell. "All right let's get her into surgery.” I ordered as we ran to pre op.

Ash

I watch helplessly as her father tells them to get her into surgery. I watch until she disappears from sight and I plop down in a chair and wait for news on how Chey was.

Illiad
I clasped his shoulder lightly sinking into the seat beside him. I took out my phone and let JoJo know I was at the hospital and they just took Chey back into surgery

Jojo

My phone buzzes and I grab it seeing a text from Illiad saying he was at the hospital and they just sent back Chey into surgery. I text him back letting him know Akia and I are send love and prayers for his sister to be okay. To keep me in the loop with any updates on her condition.

Mae
"Hey everything okay?"I asked softly coming over to sit beside her and the pup.

Jojo

I sigh as Mae comes over to sit with me and Akia. "Illiad's sister was in a car accident. It sounds pretty bad from how much he was freaking out and he just texted that they took her back for surgery. I'm just praying that she is going to be okay. She is such a sweet girl. I hate to see something like this happen to her." I explain to her.

Mae
I put my arm around her. "I'm sure she'll be alright. Just have to keep positive you know?" I said softly rubbing her arm.
(Hmmm how long should she be in a coma? Couple of months?)

Jojo

She wraps her arm around me and says she is sure that she'll be alright. To just have a positive outlook. She rubs my arm softly and I nod. "I am trying to. I just hope she'll be okay." I tell her.

(Sure that sounds good to me!)

Maybe a week or two the coma is starting to put a strain on everyone and the investigation is growing dangerously close to Ashton's mom?

Ash

I sit by Chey's side like I did most days. She still hadn't woken up since the accident happened. It had been almost two weeks now... two weeks without her smile, her teasing, her laughter. It was eating away at me.

Her family was just as bad. They all checked in as much as possible but they were all worried for her. The doctors had no clue when she would wake up... if she would wake up.

Jojo

I stroke Illiad's hair softly as he rests his head in my lap. I had made him come back to his apartment to rest for a bit. He had been right there with his family and Ashton since Chey's accident. He was exhausted worrying for his sister.

I gave him a soothing remedy to calm his mind so he could at least take a nap. He desperately needed the rest. He spent every waking moment at the hospital or at his classes. He wasn't sleeping or eating well.

Illiad
My brow furrowed slightly as I moved closer to her in my sleep. Finally able to get sleep at least. I had hardly eaten since Chey's accident . The police were suspecting fowl play...they suspected ash's mother.
Nurse
I came in and smiled softly. "You know they say it helps to talk to Coma patients helps them find their way back." I said softly as I gave him a cup of hot coco.

His brow furrows and he moves a little closer to me in his sleep. I stroke his hair softly and whisper comforting things to him, trying to soothe him. This was really eating at him. Especially when the police said they were suspecting fowl play and they suspected it was Ash's mother. No one had told Ash yet. They didn't want him to be in anymore pain then he was.

Ash

"Thanks." I say with a weak smile taking the cup of hot coco. I tried talking with her, begging her not to leave me. I love her so much. I couldn't lose her like this.

Nurse
I smiled softly and nodded. "Okay now sweetheart. Let's get these limbs a moving." I said softly as I started with her right side working on bending and flexing her fingers hand and arm. "You know you have a very special boy. He hasn't left your side in two weeks don't you know." I said talking to her as I worked.

Ash

She smiles and nods softly. She talks to Chey as she works on getting Chey's limbs moving, working on moving and flexing her hands and arms. She tells her that she had a very special boy here and that I hadn't left her side in two weeks.

I smile weakly as I sip my coco just watching. I wasn't the special one. Chey was. She could light up a room without even trying. I'd give anything to have her wake up and just see her smile.

Nurse
I looked over at him as I worked with her legs. "Would you like to help me wash her hair maybe? Don't want her to wake up with her beautiful locks on knots," I said smiling softly at him. I thought maybe I could convince the doctors to move an air mattress in here for him. I looked over as the door opened seeing a detective at the door

Ash

She looks over at me and asks I would like to help her wash Chey's hair so she doesn't wake up with her hair all in knots. I smile a little and before I can answer I see the detective standing in the doorway.

"Maybe another time. Thanks though." I tell her the nurse and walk over to the detective. "Morning, detective. Can I help you?" I ask him wondering why he was here.

Detective Dune
I nodded to him. "Good morning Ashton, I'm sorry to disturb you during this stressful time but I was wondering if I may ask you a few questions?" I asked him

Ash

He nods and says good morning. He apologizes for disturbing me during this stressful time but he wanted to ask me a few questions. I nod a little.

"Of course, detective. What do you need to know?" I ask him.

Dune
"What was your mother's opinion of your relationship with Cheyenne?" I asked him as gently as I could but there was no easy way to do it. "Did she approve or...get along with her at all?"

Ash

He asks about my mother's opinion of my relationship with Chey. Asking if she approved of it or if they got along. I think about it for a moment and rub my neck a little.

"I mean my mother is kind of strict in what kind of girl she wants me to be with but I told her that Chey was it for me. I was hoping she would open up to her more and try to accept her." I tell him.

"She had us over for dinner a few weeks ago. I was kind of hoping that was her attempt to bury the hatchet. Though... she wasn't to happy to hear I was proposing to Chey."

I look at him after a moment of think why he was asking me about my mother. "You don't... you don't think she did this to Chey, do you?" I ask really hoping my mother wouldn't do something that cruel.

Dune
I wrote down what he told me. "We are just exploring every option right now." I soothed. "Has she been in contact with you since the accident? " I asked him.

Ash

He writes something down and tells me they are just exploring every option right now. He asks me about if I had been in contact with my mother since the accident.

"I left her a few messages telling her I would be at the hospital. Her assistant told me she has been busy with work stuff." I tell him.

Dune
I nodded writing down a few things before I smiled slightly at him. "Thank you for your time Ashton. I'll be in touch." I told him giving him my card before heading back out.
