My other challenges aren't going so great, need to get back to reading books on my shelves instead of buying new ones.... And get finishing series instead of starting new ones!

Oh girl I am the same! I am so bad at finishing series, it's not even funny (it's kind of funny lol)! But you're doing really well on your other challenge, so yay!

Your not alone! I love the first book in a series, it is always so exciting learning about the characters and the world but after that, it gets kind of dull for me and there are ALOT of series that I never finished!

Oh me too. Often its because I get bored waiting for the next book to be released! But I am trying to get some series cleaned up, either by finishing them or letting them go altogether.

For me it's not that I get bored... I just come across other books and forget to get back to my previously started series because ooooooh shiny new book that just released! Lol

I just bought this book from book outlet. I have heard such great things about it!

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed Tiger Lily Britt. It's one of my favourite retellings.

I shall be starting EoS soon, I just need a little break after QoS to catch up on some other reads.

Me too!! Im reading good books just blah. I keep reading/listening to a chapter then putting it down and walking away. Hate that!!

ugh! I have the same problem, if it does not grasp my attention right away, then I put it down and sometimes NEVER come back to it! It was a HUGE accomplishment for me to actually finish because I normally would have just put it down and not even blinked at not picking it back up!

Right?! Its so frustrating! Heck even when it is grabbing my attention I'm still putting it down! The fact I listened to like 5 chapters today is a small miracle :P

I started QOS but didn't get very far. I need to read it when I am more focused and alone. Sometimes there is just too much going on at my house to concentrate

I am exactly the same at the moment. Work has been insane and now we have Ofsted in next week. If you’re not in th U.K. Ofsted is basically a group of people who come into schools and colleges to assess how good we are. It’s really stressful and I’m already dreading next week. I probably won’t read much until that’s over if I’m honest.

That does sounds stressful Kay. Hope it all goes well. I get the work being busy though its been an interesting short week at the hospital. TGIF!

Love getting books at a good price and it goes to a fantastic cause. Plus most of these I wouldve bought at some point anyway.

Beyond that im still listening to ToD, havent gotten that far in still. And reading Sweep in Peace on ebook. I've been reading more hard copy again lately. I'm enjoying everything though so thats a win!

Not sure what I will be starting next on ebook as Im on hold for book 3 of the Innkeeper Chronicles.

I'll be interested in your thoughts of Alice. I really enjoyed it. It's nothing like what I thought it would be though.

Havent had a ton of reading time but Im 36% into Alice right now and enjoying it. Its super different.

Glad you're enjoying it Britt. I thought it was very different to what I expected. I loved it though.

What the hell was that mess.... I enjoyed it up until about 50% then it just becomes well rather bad. Im not a fan of gore just for the sake of gore. Plus the end was the most anticlimactic thing. And I couldn't believe the love interest thing at all.
