Kita had to gulp as he grabbed her hand, put it on the stick shift and then placed his hand on top of hers. His hand was surprisingly warm and gentle, soft and rough at the same time. She didn't know why she reacted to his touch in such a weird way, she wasn't uncomfortable, she just didn't know how to react to any of it. She had never had a real relationship, and now here she was in a fake relationship that had all the details of a real relationship. It was confusing.
She had been looking at their hands together for a while before she looked to him and shook her hand.
"No no...I like it, it's fine. Beside we need to get used to touching each other, being comfortable with each other, if we're going to trick people into thinking we're in a relationship", Kita stated, shrugging afterwards and looking ahead at the road.

Ajax chuckle at her response and smiled lightly knowing that he could get comfortable very quick and it wasn’t because he was a player or anything. It was because the person he was with made it that easy to feel comfortable. “Yeah, we need to get into the habit of being lovey dovey together since we don’t know who will be watching us at any given moment.” He says as he looks over to her into her eyes flashing her his smile. He finally sets off again and pulls into the school parking lot looking for a spot to park. There were already some people there but most were staff so he had all the choices of where to park. He sees a spot next to her car and decides to park next to her. “Well good thing to see that your car is still here. I was hoping no one was going to try and break into it.” He says jokingly to her.

Kita nodded her head, agreeing with his statement and looking into his eyes intently. She let out a small chuckle and shake of her head, looking ahead and breaking eye contact. She watched as they pulled into the school parking lot, seeing that it was somewhat quiet; only a few people here and there, some staff.
She let out a a scoff, " My car is tin on wheels, I'm not surprised no one wants it". She had no doubt that it would still be there, it wasnt anything special but it was to her, it got her from A to B.
She unbuckled her seat belt, turning herself to him slightly and saying," Are you ready for all the bullshit that's about to come your way?"
She knew people would question him and wonder why he had chosen her, they may even make fun of him and tease him.

Ajax takes off his seatbelt and lets out a sigh as he thinks about all of those people who would be in his business once they made this public. “Well.... of course there is the main person we want to get a reaction out of this from. My Ex girlfriend.” He adjusts himself to look over to her and pouts his lips to the left thinking about others. “There will also be bullshit coming towards you since you’ll be the new girl that just transferred from the big city. Everyone will of course want to see what you have to say.” He laughs at his own joke and places his hand on her shoulder and says, “You’ll be fine though, I think you have a good way with words.” Slowly he pulls his hand back and takes in a deep breath. “Let’s get on out of the car then.” He exclaimed. He opened his door and stepped out, soon making his way to her door to open it for her. He lowers his left hand and offers it to her to hold on.

Kita's eyes widened, she had almost forgot that they were doing this whole fake relationship stuff to get back at Ajax's popular, hot ex girlfriend.
"Right, of course", she chuckled, shaking her head and closing her eyes briefly. The next few steps happened pretty fast, but at the same time it was like things were going in slow motion. He stepped out, walked over to her side, opened her door and held his hand out for her. The perfect gentlemen, the perfect way to introduce her into his opposite and very different life compared to hers. She smiled, taking his hand and getting out. They slowly made their way, walking across the parking lot.
People were staring, doing double takes, whispering among themselves, eyeing her much more than they were eyeing Ajax. She made sure not to let go of his hand, squeezing it for reassurance and comfort.

Ajax smiled at people, acknowledging some with a simple nod or the raise of his eyebrows to them. Most of the people there were looking at Kita of course since most had not even known she had existed until this very day. Whispers could already be heard from students as they try to make out what the two of them were and when it had happened. Even some of the jocks were getting in on the gossip, trying to make light of why one of their friends was with this girl and not another popular girl.
But against all of that Ajax could only think of one thing, how Kita’s hand felt in his. She was gripping pretty hard and he knew she most likely just holding on for dear life at this moment. He squeezed her hand lightly and looks over to her face with a warm smile and whispers, “Hey... I don’t think I mentioned this yet but you do look beautiful today.” He moves his head towards her and plants a small kiss on her cheek. “Now just focus on me for now till class starts.” He says as he sits them both down on a school table in the best position for everyone to see them.

Ajax was so casual about things, and she shouldn't have been surprised about it but she was. She should have known, this was his life, this was how school was for him. All Kita could think was how overwhelming everything was. She was never one to falter or feel anxious, she was usually the brooding, I-don't-care girl. But feeling all these eyes on her changed all that. She became shrivelled and small compared to the personality she usually had.
Ajax snapped her out of it. Speaking to her. Giving eye contact. Squeezing her hand. It all comforted her.
She gave a small smile, looking intently into his eyes, letting her frozen, emotionless face suddenly come to life. Kita embraced the kiss to her cheek, feeling even more comforted by him.
They sat down, allowing everyone to see them, allowing everyone to stare and whisper as they paid attention to one another. Kita let out a laugh and a shake of her head,"God, I feel like the Queen of England or something. This is ridiculous", she had an amused look on her face. She placed her hand on the side of his face, smiling softly at him and leaning closer. She leaned in to whisper to him," Thank you...for being so nice, and for being there". She stayed close to him for a moment, looking into his eyes and giving him a warm expression, an expression of gratitude. Then she leaned away, looking out to see all kinds of people looking: the jocks, the cheerleaders, the popular people, everyone. They're eyes wide as they whispered amongst each other.

Ajax’s smiled sneezing that she was getting back to herself and that all of his words had gotten through to her. He was about to say something but then he felt a soft caress on his face from her. He flinched slightly only because he wasn’t expecting this at all, and he had never really had something like this in the past. Her hand felt warm and inviting and she leaned in close to him which made him feel full of butterflies. A light tint of pink formed around his cheeks and his heart rate went up drastically. He looks blankly at her for a second but soon shakes himself out of it hearing what she had to say to him. He chuckles lightly and grips into her hand now to get grounded in the reality of the situation.
“Thank you as well. For being here for being here with me...” he whispered back to her, “And for being yourself.” Ajax felt kinda stupid for saying that and began to nervously rubbed the back of his head. He was still a little frazzled by what she did but he did enjoy it a lot. He leans back as well still looking into her eyes and says, “So I’m sure that it is working as planned right now. Soon the whole school will be talking about us, that’s if they aren’t already.” He smirks slightly when thinks of his ex finding out and what she’ll end up doing.

Kita observed Ajax, seeing how her touch made him somewhat nervous; it made him blush and freeze. She kind of liked knowing she had some sort of effect on him. She smirked to herself, looking down and trying not to make it obvious that she liked his reaction.
She looked to him again as he spoke, absorbing his words and giving a warm expression.
"And for being yourself", when she heard him say that she felt herself smile at him with gratitude. He wasn't asking her to be anyone but herself which was surprising to her. Kita would have expected that she would have to change for him, to be acceptable to him and his friends, to be acceptable to the crowd. But he to him she was good enough.
She let out a little chuckle, looking out," The mission so far is going well, I'm sure by lunch everyone will be in an absolute frenzy". Kita looked over to see her best friend Mia, holding on to her backpack straps and her mouth slightly agape as she looked at both Kita and Ajax sitting together holding hands, being close. She got up, grabbing her bag and letting go of Ajax' hand slowly, letting out a sigh and saying," I should probably go, but I'll see you". She leaned down and kissed his cheek, her hand on his shoulder as she leaned in and then heading towards Mia.
"Oh my god, Kita! I am lost for words", Mia exclaimed, being dramatic and letting out a flamboyant gasp of air and shock. She couldn't help but to chuckle at her friend and shake her head as she grabbed Mia's arm and inter locked it with hers.
"I'll explain everything later"

Ajax nodded as she was saying that she needed to go already. He leans in so she can kiss his cheek and before she’s able to pull away he does the same to her. “Hurry along now and don’t keep me waiting then.” He said with glee in his tone. Once she had finally gone to her friend he had let out a long sigh. It bummed him out a bit to have time with her cut short but it would be fine since everyone had already seen them together and that was the whole point... right. He couldn’t really shake off the feeling that she gave him and was starting to doubt whether this was about getting back at his ex or not. She was genuine and true to herself which was something that Ajax, for the longest time, wanted in his life for himself.
But as Ajax was lost in his train of thought, his friend Troy had came up from behind him and gave him a big ol smack to the back of his head. “What the fuck man!” Exclaimed Ajax as he rubbed the back of his head looking at Troy with anger and confusion. “I’m gonna need you to tell me why you decided to do that to me right now man.”
Troy quickly grabs Ajax’s shoulders and laughs up a storm not being able to say anything for a while till he finally stops himself abruptly. “Dude... you really had to go fuck things up.” He chuckles again and points over to Kita. “So who is your new girlfriend huh? She’s kinda cute but she’s one of the weirdos at school.”
Ajax quickly gets defensive and shoves his friends hands off of him, “She’s not a weirdo and her name is Kira...” he stopped himself because he did not want to get heated this early into the school day.
“Well shit man, didn’t mean to strike a nerve.” Troy sits down next to Ajax and makes sure to keep his distance. “But anyways, the queen is pissed and she’s gonna come after you and uh... Kita. Yeah you two. I said I would talk some sense into you but I know that would never work.” He adjusts himself and looks Ajax in the eyes, “You’ve always been a stubborn prick like that.”
Ajax nods slowly at him and starts to worry that maybe he got Kira into too much. The last thing he would want for her is to be embarrassed by anyone of the cool kids at school. “Thanks got the tip.” Ajax says as he gets up, slowly walking away from his friend. “And her name is Kira. If you’re going to call her weird, at least get the name right.”

Kira was in a bubble, thinking back at Ajax kissing her cheek before they went their separate ways. Was she in over her head? Was she going insane, feeling and thinking like this?
"Kira!"
Kira looked over to see her best friend Mia looking at her with wide eyes and her arms folded over her chest. "You were just daydreaming back there, totally ignoring me and my ramblings", Mia expressed, being somewhat dramatic.
Kira closed her locker and gave a guilty chuckle, putting her hands on Mia's shoulders, "I'm sorry, you're right I totally just went blank on you".
"So...how did you and Ajax suddenly come to be a couple? No offence but I didn't even think he knew you existed", Mia continued as they walked down the hall towards their classes.
"Honestly, I didn't think he knew I existed either", Kira stopped, wondering if she should tell Mia that they were just doing this to make his ex girlfriend jealous. But was that be true? She felt something for Ajax, she didn't know what exactly but this wasn't just a silly, fake relationship. She looked at Mia, seeing her friends trust worthy face and remembered that she could tell her best friend anything, Mia had been there through thick and thin for her, through anything and everything. Kira dragged Mia to a corner, pulled her close and whispered in her ear," We're pretending to be together to make his ex girlfriend jealous, but I kind of feel that it's not even about that anymore. We flirt...a lot".
Mia pulled back, gasping and putting a hand to her mouth. But then she calmed down and gave Kira a look of sympathy," Kira, I know whatever I say won't stop you from doing what you want. But don't get hurt, okay? Just remember why you and him are really together".
Kira's facial expression dropped slightly, she gulped and gave Mia a sad smile and nodded. Mia was right, she needed to be reminded of why they were really together. It wasn't because Ajax liked Kira for who she truly was, it wasn't her he liked, it was what she could offer him that he liked her. She couldn't fall for him, not so irrationally and quickly. Not like this.
Kira sat in her class, waiting for the lesson to start, but all she could think of was what Mia had said to her, she didn't notice the noise of the class as people came in and as friends laughed with each other. She didn't even notice that some people were looking at her and whispering about her.

Ajax was making his was making his way to class which was the one that Kira and him shared together. He was just thinking of what this little devil could be thinking of doing to Kira. And as he turned the corner in the hallway he was immediately stopped by Nat and her stoic expression. Well whatever she had planned out, she was going to tell him what she was going to do in an attempt to drive him away from Kira.
“Ajax... you’ve been a busy boy now haven’t you?” Nat asked as she looked him up and down. She gave off a little chuckle for no reason and looked back up into his eyes. “Do you really think you that you would make me jealous with that thing you decided to get with. I mean come on!” She was obviously taken back by his choice and it was getting to her the fact that he had chose her over anyone else. “I mean if you got with one of my friends maybe I would have got jealous. But that’s a slim to nothing chance.” She then lays her hand on his chest and lightly presses onto him. “Now I don’t see that little girl having anything that I don’t have. It’s obvious that I’m the one who offers more than her. This invisible girl.”
“Get out of my way already.” Ajax says as he grabs her hand and moves it to the side. “And also I think this attempt of getting me to back out of this is a way of you showing jealousy.” Ajax was about to just let the conversation end there and walk away but he had felt an urge to say something back to Nat to defend Kira. “And one more thing Nat.” He turns and looks her dead in the eyes, “Kira offers a whole lot more than you. Something I don’t think you’ll ever be able to offer anyone. And that’s be true to yourself.” And with those words Ajax just continued to walk to class already being late thanks to this interaction.
Nat was of course furious at that comment and she knew deep down that it was true about her. She started to yell insult after insult at Ajax and promised to get back at him.
Ajax finally entered class and was of course scolded for being late. He made his way over to his seat which was close to where Kira had sat down, just behind here. He was still thinking that maybe he had gone too far with the last comment but he couldn’t just let Kira be insulted like that. If he was just doing this to get back at Nat he would have felt nothing doing that. Ajax cared about what would happen and didn’t do it to make Nat jealous but to defend his choice in Kira and her. He let out a deep sigh knowing that trouble was not too far off the horizon.

Kira finally heard the whispering among people grow louder, the noise from people finally disturbing her thoughts. Kira had overheard that Ajax and his ex girlfriend Nat had been arguing about her. Kira, the invisible nobody was causing chaos amongst the popular people. She couldn't help but roll her eyes and also smirk to herself. Kira was done being some fragile, quiet girl; if people wanted to argue with her and scold her for being with Ajax then they would be surprised to find out that Kira would stand up for herself and not take any of their shit.
Ajax was late to class, as usual. He sat behind her and it was as if she could feel the heat from his argument with Nat radiating off of him. The teacher had gone out for a quick second, a bathroom break or something, and Kira took that as an opportunity to turn around and face Ajax.
She gave a small smile," Is everything okay? People have been whispering non stop about your argument with your ex girlfriend". She didn't want to push him at all, if he wanted to tell her he could and if he wanted to keep it to himself he could do that too.

Ajax was kinda hurt by what had just happened but wasn’t gonna show anyone that it had took a toll on him. When he looked up to see a smile on Kira’s face, it too made him smile for a bit. She was kind and always true to herself and it made him feel like he could be himself with her. Which was not something he wanted her to know but still his mouth spoke, “I-I... I don’t know. I honestly feel like I got you in some trouble that we both weren’t prepared for.” He was being more serious in his tone which was something that he rarely is ever seen as. He puts his hand softly on her shoulder and looks down taking in a deep breath of air. “I honestly don’t even know if we should continue this if it ends with you hurt emotionally...” Ajax just felt defeated at this point. Sadness had just took over him and he was ready to throw in the towel to his ex. He wanted to be there with her but he knew he was just going to be trouble to her. He was now thinking that she was right to be rude to him when they first met.

Kira could see that this was hurting him, his arguement between his ex was clearly bringing up things he didn't think about when they came up with this contractual relationship. He was serious for once, and it made her question how bad things could really become if they continued this. But something in her was different; she didn't care anymore. She didn't care if she was a pain to the popular kids, she didn't care if she screwed things up for them, she didn't care if she became the gossip that spread in this school. She had been invisible for a very long time, now was her chance to take a stand and do things her own way.
She smirked, leaning in and saying, "I'm a tough girl, I can handle it, Ajax. Trust me". She looked him in the eyes and gave an encouraging smile, hoping it made him feel better.
"Let's give them Hell", she smiled wickedly, a devious yet playful look on her face.

Ajax laughs it off silently and was sorta impressed by the way that Kira was handling this whole situation but was still worried that maybe she was gonna let it get to her head with everything that was going on. He adjust his seat so he was closer to her and looked her deep in her beautiful eyes. He was thrown back by how lucky he was to have even meet this person and let alone get to know them the way they were now.
“I’ll trust you for now. And know that we’re both in this together.” He says as he lightly grips onto her hand interlocking their fingers together. His smirk just as twisted as hers.
“They won’t know what’ll hit em...” he says with excitement in his voice. Ajax in this moment felt connected with Kira in a way he had never been with anyone and through instinct, he leaned forward and planted a light kiss on her lips. It was short but felt like it was an eternity being there on her smooth and plump lips. He finally had realized what he had down and started to blush like crazy.
“That was... uh for show I guess.” He whispered into her ear. Ajax wasn’t trying to convince her that but more of trying to wrap his head around this.

Kira grinned at him, seeing that his confidence and eagerness had returned once she had encouraged him. People were going to murmur and whisper and stare anyway, so who cared if they caused a little more trouble? It would be an experience. Kira didn't care for drama that would be forgotten in their life time.
"Hell yeah they won't", Kira replied, grinning at him with giddiness as she held hands with him, feeling his fingers against hers. For a moment, Ajax was looking at her, something different about his face but she wasn't left wondering for long about what he was thinking about because he leaned in and kissed her.
It was sudden and short, but sweet and delicate. His lips against hers smooth and soft. Before she knew it he pulled away, his face red as he had realised that he had just kissed her. She blushed lightly and gave him a small smile, her smile eventually turning into a little chuckle. Her eyes sparkled as he whispered in her ear, she leaned away slightly, inches from his face, looking deep into his eyes. Then something overtook her, a confidence she didn't know she had. She slipped her hands on either side of his face, her touch delicate and gentle, and leaned in, kissing him and moving her lips against his lightly. She leaned away, her eyebrows raised and an amused look on her face. Kira and Ajax must have been in their own world, because they both hadn't realised that everyone was watching them and that the teacher had come in.
"Alright alright everyone settle down. Get back to work", the teacher exclaimed. Kira simply turned around, a smile on her face, and continued her work.

((Hey sorry for taking another long leave. I just have not been getting on my technology as often. I hope you want to continue this to and if not then I hope that you’re doing great!))

Ajax wasn’t paying attention to what was going on in front of him thanks to the feelings he was having from what had just transpired and he was about to try and say something to calm himself down again but when he was going to say something, he felt her hands gently touch his face. His face was bright red and he stared into her eyes seeing a new kind of fire in her eyes. He wondered what she was planing to do but before he could even come onto any conclusion he was interrupted by her leaning in and kissing him. Ajax just melted into the kiss and as if he had never done this before, he timidly grips his hands onto her arms.
When she pulled away from him he just looked at her and took deep breathes not know what to even say at this point but he wouldn’t need to say anything since the teacher had came in and started to get the classes attention for the lesson. Ajax just laid his head down as if he was going into a cocoon to protect his red face from view of the class.

The class was soon over with nothing but thoughts on the kids that had just occurred in the class and what it meant for him and for her. He didn’t really want to think of this but she was the only thought in his mind and he loved that feeling. As people were leaving the classroom he was just sitting still looking forward with a red face. People murmur in the background since this was one of the first times that Ajax has ever acted this way and it was leaving a mark on people.

Soon the class was over. Kira packed her things up as everyone left, with their murmurs and stares. She looked over at Ajax to see he was in a daze, his cheeks slightly flushed.
"Ajax", she said softly, reaching over to touch his hand slowly so not to frighten or shock him.
"Are you okay?", she raised her eyebrows and smiled in a friendly way. She got up and moved her hand to his cheek, looking down at him with gentle, wondering eyes. Did he see something that shocked him? Did she do something wrong?
"Did I do something, Ajax?", she asked hesitantly.

Ajax was still when she had called out his name and was not going to budge at all since he was still lost in thought. He finally gets out of his head when she gives him a slight touch on the hand. He looks up to see into her eyes and slowly puts his other hand onto hers. Taking in a short and shallow breath he nervously says, “I’m good…” he slowly lets go of her hand and gets up from his desk to walk on out of the room. He just needed to try and wrap his around this and couldn’t really bring himself to say anything more about the whole ordeal. She really treated him well and he loved how she made him feel but inside he felt like that wasn’t something he could have. He was already in the hallways now, in front of his locker just looking inside of it. “God… why am I such a dork.” He murmured to himself.
