Life of Pi discussion

In the book "Life of Pi", written by Yann Martel, a family was going to move to Canada until their ship was shipwrecked along with some zoo animals. This family owned a zoo and when they weren’t really happy in India. They thought it was a good choice to move. The boy, Pi, was stranded in a lifeboat for 227 days. Pi was terrified that no one was with him. As he waits for rescue a tiger named Richard Parker is with him. Later, they both form a bond and together they are trying to survive. It’s difficult for Pi to maintain Richard Parker. Pi develops and grows new understandings with Richard. I think this book is very interesting because Pi is trying to survive obstacles and for him its life or death decisions. He also tries not giving up on Richard Parker. This is another thing that kept me reading this book.
