Katherine Rich | 3 comments I’m desperately trying to recall the name of this book.
It is based on one street and written from a third party eyewitness perspective. The narrator observes the things that happen to all the neighbours in minute detail, the comings and goings etc. One of the families is an Indian family with young children and there is some sort of car accident or incident in the plot. There is also a character who appears to be struggling with depression and I believe plot twist relating to a twin sister or a pregnancy or something.

Does anyone know what the book is?

Please always include genre and plot details in your header, as per the Group Rules. Your query is more likely to be spotted by the people who can help you find it.

We also need to know when you read it (which is in the group rules...)

Lisa | 36 comments Could it be If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor? It's about the comings-and-goings of a single street. It leads to some sort of tragedy, and a few reviews on Amazon mention a pregnant woman and a twin boy.

Katherine Rich | 3 comments That’s it! Thanks Lisa. Lobstergirl-I never saw any ‘rules’. Maybe these need to be made clearer if they’re so important although I’m not sure I understand why...

Juels | 3312 comments The rules are on the main page for the group. The link to start a new thread is right in the middle of them.

Please take a minute to review them:

I don't know how much clearer we could be - we put the rules everywhere we could think to put them.

1. In the group description box at the very top of the group's homepage.

2. In the first visible post of the group - the "READ THIS FIRST, please" post.

3. In the "Group Rules" yellow popup that pops up every time every single member creates a post.
