Hate is a strong word. I had issues with it, but books I truly hated were given 1 star. You managed to get 2 because the book was amusing and it did move at a fast pace.
The copy I received felt unpolished but had potential. With a lot more polish and more redeeming qualities to Captain Eris, and A LOT more world building, I could see this book getting a higher rating from me. But to each his own.
