the book is very similar to the movie... now I want to watch it again... there are a couple of extras in the book though, like the estate sale, and the way Margot finds out about the kiss, and in the book there is no scrunchy...

I think I will pick up next...

Erica, even if you finish before me on Scar, can you not bump me as I have nowhere else to put Kite Runner and it is worth 8 points? Thanks, I will try to finish this evening to finish Scar.

I just started mine, it has a mute character so will bank it for that one, im assuming it will be easier to find another yellow cover vs mute character

so since we dont have our other characters yet I picked out a view books for my upcoming reads for specific categories. I hope thats okay, I tried to go with ones that were harder to find so most likely wont have multiple options for the category:
-Vassa in the Night Hades-colorful hair
-The Billionaires Perfect Marriage Man- authors name has RON in it
-We Need New Names Mor'du - Features a mute character
Am hoping to have them all done by Wednesday

Have two more books that I'll be writing reviews for tonight, and trying to find a place to fit them! I'll try to start looking for those trickier categories as well, I'm reading very un-strategically at the moment, haha

Scar is done so we should get another new one tomorrow.

I’ll look for a spot for my two banked books in the morning. Unless someone feels like posting them.

hahaha yeah :D I'm the mastermind behind a lot of these challenges. Plus, Felicia, Andy, and I are really digging these game challenges. So we want to make more of them.

Finished but there is no place to put it... I'll wait to see where it can go when we get a new category, it is also NOT a BR.

currently reading so far so good... and this one IS a BR... it seems like we are tackling lots of BRs...

I added me 2 current reads to the bottom of the sheet. Also added my other 2 finished books to the banked books. So far I have 3 without homes :(

The team I was with last month was very slow at getting through categories and wasnt too keen on being 'bumped' out even if you were completed first. I think we are doing great as a team!!

I just posted a banked book for the RON in first or last name. Am hoping to finish Vassa today at some point for Hades and that will give us a new character :) I am about halfway through

I’ve been lucky with this month and last month. We don’t sit around to wait for someone to finish a category when someone else has already finished it. I think that’s what keeps us moving along.

I just feel like its pointless to not finish a category if someone is done first. You wanna finish as fast. Unless its a book that doesn't fit anywhere else. OR its a really difficult category but even then you can still bank it. We've been pretty lucky so far. Last month my team got stuck cuz we got the same character over in a row and let me tell you finishing all 8 of them at one time is rough. we had that with 2 characters in a row.

My team bumped someone after she didn't check in for over a week and then she came back angry and then never checked in again. I think we have a good balance even if some of us move faster than others. My team, which lost, got stuck on Mulan with all 8 last time for over a week. I think they are not allowing that this time as there is no way we would have no repeats by now.

A week? That’s a long time to not be active.

yuuup, everyone wanted to go through the characters once before getting them again. so, that's what we did.
