Mae | 7 comments I read this book in the 1970s (I can't remember exactly). It is about a cat that was injured and left with its front legs virtually unusable. The cat was still able to go out and hunt rats and rabbits, which it then brought home. That is pretty much all I can remember about it.

What age reader is it for?
Illustrations?
What country?

Mae | 7 comments I was either in Jr High or High School when I read it. It seemed suitable reading for me at that age. I think the events in the story happened in England (but am not sure if I am remembering this book or confusing it with another).

From the reviews, it does look like that is the book! Thank you so much!
