Lynne Stringer | 90 comments It's so sad. Depression is a difficult thing to live with and it never really lets up its hold on an individual.

Grace Hamilton | 50 comments He will be sadly missed, the man was idolised by many and loved by more...

Darlene Deluca (darlenedeluca) | 14 comments Very sad. So many brilliant performances. He was incredibly funny, but my all-time favorite role was Mr. Keating in Dead Poets Society.

Chris Longmuir (chrislongmuir) | 23 comments So sad. I really enjoyed his performances, but depression is a terrible thing to fight. I think it was Churchill who called it the Black Dog.

Lynne Stringer | 90 comments Yes, Dead Poets' Society was my favourite too.

Matthew Williams (houseofwilliams) | 88 comments I'm still in denial about this, frankly. And for me, Good Morning Vietnam was his best work. A wonderful story of love and good humor struggling to make a difference in a world torn apart by insanity, strife, and divided loyalties.

Sad. My husband didn't care for his constant jokes while being interviewed while I thought it was clever, the press wasn't allowed into his private life. My sons played Mrs Doubtfire so often I probably still know the words.

Elizabeth SaFleur | 7 comments It's taken me until now to even comment on Robin Williams' death. So sad! He brought so much joy to so many people, but clearly didn't have happiness for himself. I hope someday we can rid our world of a horrible disease called depression that has robbed so many of so much -- and now has claimed someone who the world really needed. We need more laughter!

Sarah | 7 comments It took me a second to connect Robin Williams with the actor when I heard of his passing. My first thought was no way, he just ended a tv show. Met him from Mork and Mindy, sang along with Aladdin, laughed hard at Birdcage and Mrs. Doubtfire and scratched my head when they cast him in Bicentennial Man. Still can't believe it.

Vinod Kaul | 7 comments Goes to show talent, fame, money may be worthy goals set by our society but it is not sufficient to quench our soul!

Rebecca Porter (trolltails) | 26 comments There's a new hole in the hearts of his fans. I know I can feel my wound. I can still quote lines from Mork and Mindy, and I never stopped laughing with this amazing man from that moment forward. Rest in Peace, Robin. You will be missed.

R. Mark (RMarkHayhurst) | 2 comments Such sad news! I'm old enough to remember his as Mork all those years ago. He played such a range of roles so well.
