For a list of books we have read in previous months, click here: Previously Read Group Read Books

I've recently watched the film, Ali & Nino, & thought it was a beautiful love story, I really liked it. I would now love to read the book (even though I usually prefer it the other way round - reading the book before watching the film). But now I've seen that the biography of the author, Lev Nussimbaum, is listed on the Group Book List and it seems really interesting. So, I nominate, The Orientalist: Solving the Mystery of a Strange and Dangerous Life by Tom Reiss for Azerbaijan.

For Translated Poetry/Folklore I nominate, Selected Poems by Rumi. I've wanted to read this for a while :o)

Mohi Uddin | 1 comments I would like to read Ghost Train to the Eastern Star. I liked the synopsis and most importantly, I loved the title. A good title always makes me want to pick up the book.

Thank You.
