Because we have many people from both sides of the Pond and all over the world, i am using UK times to base my start date and time. So i plan on starting book when i finish work tomorrow night.
I am at 4% and think its a interesting start. (view spoiler)[wham bam right into a murder, then followed with a great introduction of working in a restaurant !<\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]
(view spoiler)[typical -Start of a new life, evil criminals, usually Red necks but only one is in the this case, some historical evil hinted at, graphic examples of food. Not typical- One of the pair of killers is a beautiful woman, the main character Vera, fiancee has a affair (although the event is being hinted as a total break of character, so maybe he was manipulated to act this way ?), Vera does not seem to have a traumatic past that required therapy. Good book so far.<\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]
finished the book, although the buddy read did not go to plan. Never mind, had fun with the book, did not enjoy it as much as Golem and brides of the impaler. Read somewhere that Mr Lee thought his ending was not great, but I was happy with it.
