I'm going to be buddy reading The Apple Orchard by Susan Wiggs with Sarah from Not Just Romance Novels during the month of October.
We have decided to invite you to join us, and so I have started a discussion thread to make it easier for you all to take part in it. If you would like to read this with us or at least try a chapter or two, then let us know in this discussion thread.
I have set up a separate thread to discuss the book.

I'm excited that you gals will be joining in with us. I don't think we are going to make a specific reading schedule. We just want to get it read at some point during the month. But since we are already a week in, I have divided the book into 3 parts and made 3 separate discussion threads. The first and third sections are about 160 pages each and the middle section is only 100 pages. I'm going to set myself a goal to read a section each week. That still leaves a few days at the end of the month to catch up if I get behind. Y'all feel free to read it as fast or slow as you like and then when you finish each section just come back here and chat about it. Sarah mentioned wanting to do a live show at the end of the month. We can decide that a little later. If it just turns out to be the four of us, then we might not need to.

I would love a live show but I also love the idea of an intimate 4-some chat! Do you all do Voxer?

I haven't tried Voxer yet. Is it an app I can download on my phone?

Yep! I don't use it regularly but I have and I think it was pretty user friendly. It's basically like a walkie talkie and you can leave voice messages for the people in the group. Texting with your voice I guess haha. If it ends up being just us 4, it could be a good way to share our thoughts.

Good morning ladies. I haven’t started the book yet, but I will probably later this week. I have Voxer and I enjoy it. I could do a live show too more than likely. I’m game for whatever works for everyone else.

Hello I just was watching Elizabeth’s you tube video and decided to join the group. I own a copy of this book decided to joint in i known the month is almost over and I have books I have to read to review for netgalley plus requested library books to get in but I always have a few books going at once. But see how it goes. Love some of the past books by Susan so looking forward to this one.

Hi Donnajo! Glad to have you join in. I just started it last night myself and didn't get too far in it yet. So no worries! We will get done when we get done. I will come back at the end of today with my thoughts so far.

Hi Elizabeth, I read only up to page 19 which is beginning of chapter 1.
