Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments I love that you have so many mysteries on your list. My second favorite genre. I may have to check out the Nevada Barr books. I'm currently reading my second book in a row that features a Fish and Wildlife Game Warden as a main character and I'm liking all the outdoor settings.

Have a great month!

The MC in that series is a ranger for the National Park Service, and every book is set in a different park. It's an interesting way to learn a bit more about some of the parks I've not yet visited :)

Barb Yes! And the author doesn't run into the rut of figuring out how many ways someone can die in just one park ... although I'm sure there are many, many ways that could happen :)

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments LOL, yes, plus it would certainly avoid the trap of a singular town/location becoming the murder capital of the country.

Looks like you’re a cozy mystery fan. You’ve got a nice mix of authors, too. Hope you can get to Harry Bosch as that’s a good one.

Enjoy🎊

Barb Yes, my mom introduced me to cozies way back when we had to go to the bookmobile to get our books because the library was too far away and my parents were a one-car family, and I've gravitated toward cozies ever since. I read other books, too, but cozies seem to be my fall-back books :)

I wish I’d stuck with them longer but when I graduated to the grittier stuff, I couldn’t go back. Enjoy them!!
