But going into Week Three we still have a good shot at the Difficult Letters category. Last I checked, Sandy Claws was leading in both of those categories. If it stays like that, and we manage 2nd place in one of those categories, I think that still gives us a shot at the “prize”...
ETA: the teams currently beating us at Difficult Letters do not seem to have any difficult letters in their Week Three words! This is good news for us, as we have 2 of them!
But! Anyway, I am enjoying all this reading, and getting to play the game with you folks 🙂

I keep hearing that about that one! I loved the first 2 (especially the first one) so I think I'm going to stop there and not ruin it for myself. I feel like
ruined the whole series that I used to love for me, learned a lesson.

Yeah, the Helene parts were pretty good, but all the rest was tedious. I was bored for about 3/4 of the book. This series should have been a trilogy instead of 4 books. Everything important in this one could have been folded into books 2 and 4, to better effect.

It has been a very long time since I tried to read a book that long in one day. It was not at all what I expected, but it was still quite good. I'm glad I put it on my wheel list.
Nice!I am also reading a quite long book (800+ pages), though it will take me a while — definitely into next week or longer — so it isn’t on the spreadsheet yet. It’s a short story anthology so it’s easy to pick up and put down between reading other stuff.

Also I think the Stevie Nicks book will only work for S and D in author's name. For Wheel the real people in nonfiction books apparently don't count for "characters". (Caps can correct if I got that bit wrong.)Let us know if the Dresden books works for anything other than H & D (in Harry Dresden).
