Oh, good! That is helpful. Does it work in reverse? Like, if I do the first set of DQs this week (today/tomorrow) but don’t finish the book until next week? I don’t need to do this — I can do different sets of DQs during next week, but I’m curious...

We tend to log a lot of books at the end of the week, so I expect we will at least close the gap with them this week. Our words are the same length, and we have two hard letters to their one.

I have decided that I am going to read an extra, short Y book tonight — it is starting to look like we will need it, if we don’t want to leave any “difficult letters” on the table. If I somehow do not finish it by deadline tomorrow, it can roll into our next word.

I had a last minute computer crash and had to switch laptops so not everything got double checked. The error won't make any difference in the points, so I doubt the mods will care about changing it.
At long last, I will finish reading The Secret Garden with my daughter this week, so it can definitely be assigned a letter :D

If anyone else has word-in-text (which does not seem too terribly hard to find), please feel free to use it because I may swap out the book that I have for it with a 100-point book for the same currently-assigned letter (N).I won’t know for sure for a few days though, and I don’t want us to end up with no book for word-in-text.

I checked with the mods. You can finish reading the book one week and include it in a spell it out, then do the discussion questions the following week as they are written and log the bom points in the week you finish the discussion.
