Also recommend this adorable book I am reading right now

That's 2 books this week I can't use haha

BUT: Although Barrel didn't get any good Difficult Letters words, Sally -- currently in the top spot already -- got COOKIES. If they choose that, and I don't see why they wouldn't, they are on track to win that category.
That being said, they seem to be adding to their spreadsheet as they go, as opposed to waiting and adding in a big chunk? So we might still sneak up on them? Maybe?

Maybe we can catch up to them if we switch to the everyone read short books plan. We can do it!

The BOM fits all the words, so no trouble there. We might still win that in any case :)

I'm fine with any of the words as well. Spying on Sally, they will be going with COOKIES and know that we are the only team with a chance to pass then. It will definitely be a race.

I have to tell them.

Yeah.... like I mentioned...
Unless I am missing something, it’s not worth it since we are not going for points, just letters. The time it would take to find stuff will also cut into our remaining reading time!

It only takes a minute to check a book that someone decides to read against the list. One of my "o" audiobooks will work for #4.
Anyone that wants to use the list to help pick books for next week is more than welcome to do so. Please remember, as much as we may want to win, it's still important to have fun as well.

It shows "I: 2" but "Totals: 0""
Yes, I noticed that last night. It will be fixed shortly.
Edited to add: Fixed now.

Yes, I finally got home long enough to get us signed up. I'll work on our planning spreadsheet in the morning since I have to go out again in about an hour to pick up my son.

Not really, no.
Deanna, I guess you should factor that in when deciding if those things you found for title and genre are really things you would wanna read anyway :)

Amazon preview for paperback version says “pages 7-256 are not included in preview... Maybe see if the
Mods would accept 256 as an estimate for either print or e version?

Goodreads has a paperback version listed with 266 pages, so you can just use that page count.

Goodwill by definition is friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude. A cover showing someone helping someone else would work. We don't have to fill the bonus. There are certainly plenty of other opportunities for points with the Help Save Christmas mini challenge.
