Oh no! We'll be chilly, but dry... so hoping for a good turn out. I can't be trusted with leftover candy!

Just finished my 3rd book... hope to get 2 more done by Saturday. I need to read the Old Man Andy The Sa for another challenge... but it's not long enough for Wheel... so might try to sneak that in too this weekend.

For next week, I have books that fit not just the letters but the bonuses too. So, if anyone needs some, I have a shelf of books I can lend.

I found blood in text for a book I have started, but won't finish until next week. It is Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver. Also works for B.

THIS IS DIFFERENT TO THE START OF THE CHALLENGE IN SOME CITIES DUE TO THE START/FINISH OF DAYLIGHT SAVINGS

I am in a sydney time zone so while i will try and get and do some last minute arranging before 9 am on sunday morning ideally i would like to have majority of checking done by midnight the night before where possible ( so about 9 hours before the above time) . Obviously with the different time zones there will be some last books finished during this time but i will let you know a little later about what to do then.


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Make sure you are entering all books on your wheelathon shelf else I won't be able to put them on the official spreadsheet and earn points with them.

We are doing really well so far and are currently sitting in second place :-)

I can squeeze in one more book for this week so I’m off to start that and then see what all I have for next week. Go team!

I'm spending all of today listening to some shorter books to fill up words

I noticed we need a couple O’s so I picked one up but it’s kinda long for my standards. But it’s possible I can finish it today

I just updated the spreadsheet. My books weren't on there because I forgot to shelve them for this challenge. Now that it is fixed...

So far... We have 3 complete read-throughs. All bonuses are claimed.

To complete the next read through, we need O.

I'm reading one that covers F (not sure if any others work yet, just basing on title and author at the moment).

I just added a W - it is middle grade and therefore based on word count. I added it to completion posts.

I'll finish my W book that I'm already slotted in for and then I'll finish an E book tomorrow. I've added the E to the spreadsheet

I'm reading an O book now...

We need:
O (finish the next read through)
EWO (finish the following read through)
WEEWOLF (finish the read through after that)

If we can get O EWO done, the R in the last one started will count too.

I’m almost done with my O book. It’s a quicker read than I thought. Will look at the spreadsheet to see what we still need.

I should finish a book for O or L tonight or tomorrow morning. I might be able to squeeze one more in before Saturday. I'd forgotten about daylight savings savings... an extra hour to read!

I'm working on getting the two spreadsheets to match. When I posted about the letters, it's from the official spreadsheet, not the planning spreadsheet.

On the planning spreadsheet, everything up through the 5th reading is a match.

ALERT CAPTAINS - Just want to point out that on the spread sheet my book The Changeling is put in an L slot with reason being character William, but should be ALN Lavalle for an L, or switch it to W spot.

Also I can finish a book for an R or I can finish it next week for a B. I can instead finish a book for an LOREFW or for a LOBD next week or just finish both next week?

I started on for W. I wasn't in the mood to read my other current read and it will work for L in blood next week also so i am not too stressed about it right now

I have us updated again. Sarah, I fixed the issue you pointed out. Thank you for letting me know. On the official spreadsheet, I had it right. On the planning one, I didn't. Oops.

As of now, we have 5 complete read-throughs. For #6, we need L and F. For #7, everything but O. Then after that, we need the whole word.

I am reading an L book now. Let me know if I need to read an F instead.

I'm struggling with what letters we are in most need of to get another spell Out this round... I can do one more, but what letter(S) do we need most?

As of right now, we need O to finish a spell out. Then W E R E W O L F for the next one.

I am finishing an L book today. I can read an O book quick if necessary.

So we have 8 hours before check in and spreadsheets are locked.

I have managed to finished another spell out for us on the main spreadsheet and there is an O ready to go in the missing space of the last one, which will go on to the missing space before check in so we have a full WEREWOLF worth of letters that can be read again if you have time in the next 8 ours.

Just until check in time, can you let us know in this thread what letter you are reading so Amy can keep track and we have as many useful letters as possible.

Please also make sure you are putting each book on your wheelathon shelf to ensure we can use it in the spreadsheet

Now its 1 am here so I am off to be but I will be up nice and early to ensure the spreadsheet is updated in time for check.

For the current spell-out... my book Nikk used fit L could also be used for O... so that's an option if someone has an L book they'll finish today (just to complicate Nikk's life when she wakes up 😁)

I am currently reading a book that will work for R or E (and am keeping an eye out for other characters). I know I can get it done and maybe one other short book. This book would also work for next week's word... so if we're getting close to the cutoff and it's not going to help us today, I might choose to not finish it till we start the new word. I'm home alone with quiet all day, so will be able to read, read, read!

I'm reading an L now. I'm not sure if any characters will work. It will probably be my last book for this week. So if it needs to be switched, I will do that. And try to minimize any complications for Nikk.

It kinda helps that she and I have almost opposite schedules.

We've done an awesome job, Team Igor! All bonuses, multiple spell-outs. Either me or Nikk will let you know just how well it went.

I am reading Barbara Kingsolver's new book Unsheltered. I love it so much. Her book The Poisonwood Bible is one of my all time favorites.

Yes, anything started today that doesn't get finished before 5:59pm EST today will work for next week's word unless it does not fit the letters.

It helps that I'm a SAHM with no social life. I have all the time in the world to read. Lol

Yeah Krissy is amazing! I managed 5 books but only a couple were more than 300 pages I think. Though i spend 3 hours per day during the week commuting plus i listed to audio books at work on high admin days so it makes them easier to get through most of the time.

We have an hour till check in and I am working through the spreadsheet now so keep posting here as you finish as well as planning spreadsheet

and don't forget to place on your shelf so I can use it! :-P
