J.J. Mainor | 2440 comments Ah, problem is the thread title said "no humility." When presented with a question like this, I find out how much I hate talking about myself :D

message 10: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Could be tough one to handle if

[1] Humble

[2] Meek

message 11: by Ian (new)

Ian Miller | 1857 comments Graeme, is anyone around here going to confess to being meek and humble? If they post that, they would immediately contradict themselves :-)

message 12: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8073 comments It's not bragging if you're asked to state your strengths.

message 13: by Ian (new)

Ian Miller | 1857 comments Scout, meek and humble involves more than not bragging :-)

message 14: by Nik (new)

Nik Krasno | 19853 comments I'm with J.J. on this one - wouldn't know how to "sell" myself (can there be a connection with low book sales?), but still hope that others after wasting lots of time on thorough scrutiny may see something good ... err.. not bad in me -:)
I'd go with eccentric/rebellious though - can be best and can be worst.

message 15: by Esther (new)

Esther Tubbs | 36 comments J. J. certainly did word his opinion quite eloquently!

message 16: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8073 comments Thanks for your replies. I thought it was a simple question, but I've come to expect that nothing is simple around here - which is a good thing!

message 17: by J.J. (new)

J.J. Mainor | 2440 comments I suppose it's a good thing we didn't get into a big brawl over it... :D
