Alan Henderson The Da Vinci Code is centered around Robert Langdon, a symbologist working in Paris, and his journey to discover a deep and well-hidden historical secret through different clues found in Leonardo da Vinci’s artwork. French authorities call Langdon to investigate the crime scene of the murder of the Louvre’s curator, due to the fact that a strange cipher is found near the curator’s body. This leads to a trail of clues and symbols found in da Vinci’s artwork that Langdon follows, along with French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, to find the secret hidden for centuries behind cryptic, previously unsolvable messages. I liked this book and would definitely recommend it to people because it keeps you interested throughout the whole story. Suspense novels typically are not the most interesting, in my opinion, but this book is easily in the upper echelon of fiction novels in general. I had heard that this book was supposed to be entertaining, and it definitely meets those expectations, making it a very worthwhile read for anyone.
