Restaurant and Pub.Frequented by many villagers and knights

Ketsu had left the guild and entered the pub. The ale here was much better and at least no one would bother him.
He ordered a stein of ale and sat alone, drinking while his tail mildly swished back and forth.

Just at the 3rd stein of beer, Ketsu's face was flushing and his ear tips red. He was already drunk.

Jayden was cleaning off the counter that Ketsu was at, making sure the place was spotless, his twin, Jade was putting away the dishes in the kitchen after she washed them.

Ketsu watched Jayden as he cleaned the table, debating whether he was a boy or a girl. Ketsu's ears flicked at the noise of clinking beer mugs and chatter.
"Hey, you" ketsu raised his voice at Jayden so he could hear him.
"who's the owner of this pub?"

Jayden looked at Ketsu and said, "Would you like to see the owner?" His heterochromic eyes stared into Ketsu's blue eyes.

He usually didn't talk to people like this but right now he was pretty drunken up.

"That's what is usually asked, I just work here with my twin. Our Uncle runs the pub." He said.(I'll say the man who raised them is their uncle, if someone would like to make him)

" I see." Ketsu stood up and was about to leave when his blind eye fails him and he trips on himself. Ketsu falls on the floor and passes out.
(he doesn't handle alcohol well and is clumsy, oof)

Jayden ran to Ketsu's side when he fell and instead ended up with Ketsu falling on him, making him crash to the ground.

Jade heard the crash and ran to her brother's side, helping him up and picking up Ketsu with the help of Jayden. She was used to this, especially when they where drunk and passed out, not to mention some had flirted with her only to receive a bloody nose from her.

(Time skip)

Ketsu started waking up in an unfamiliar place, his head throbbing."urgh.."

He noticed he was shirtless..Suddenly realizing that he wasn't in his dormitory, he was in someone's living room!
"where the hell...?"

(the twins took him until he wakes up.

They also took off his shirt cuz it was drenched in beer)

Jayden said, "Oh, you're awake, that's good, you passed out and we decided to find a spot to let you sleep, at least till you're sober enough to not stumble again." He smiled warmly. "If you're hungry Jade can make something for you."

Ketsuki sat up and looked around for his shirt. He wanted to leave, he wasn't used to this type of kindness and it made him uncomfortable. "No thank you. Where's my shirt?" He asked, glancing over to the boy.

The boy was rather cute looking, almost slightly feminine with the way his body was slender. Ketsuki started slightly blushing and got flustered when he caught himself thinking about the boy.
ugh, that's a dude.., he reminded himself.

On the corner of her chest was the SerpentsGaze tattoo symbol, Jayden must've noticed it, so why did the twins still give him a place to sleep? The dark guilds were hated among villagers.

Jayden smiled, "It's currently hung up to dry, it should be finished in a while." He said kindly.

"You Know I'm a serpent guild member? Don't you people hate us?"

Jayden smiled, "Even so, it's just a guild, I try my best to stay out of the way of both guilds. I and my sister both don't choose sides so we're more of minding our businesses. Uncle doesn't care what guild you're from, as long as we get rupees for our service." He smiled as Jade walked through the door with Ketsu's shirt folded up neatly and looking nearly new.

Ketsu took the shirt from jade and started putting it on. "Thanks" he mumbled, feeling awkward about thanking someone.

"I'm Jayden and my sister is named Jade." He said, grabbing his sister's arm and pulling her into a hug with a smile. "Come back again if you like." He said.

Ketsuki felt slightly awkward, only slightly nodding. "Noted, i'm Ketsuki Jakel, i'll come by another time." Ketsuki turned into a wolf and trotted up to the entrance of the house before dashing away,

Ketsuki walked in the bar, something strange had led him here, a longing sensation to see a certain someone. The boy. It was the nice boy who took him in last time ketsu came here.

Ketsu sat on a chair, covered in bandages from the fight the two guilds had. He looked around for the boy's familiar face then froze.

why am i even here...

He felt strange about wanting to see him again. Maybe he was just bored and wanted to see a kind smile again.

Jayden was working on setting up a table nearby for two people who had come in, the had rudely commented on his eyes, which had upset him, not to mention the rude comments he was getting from some people about his sisters cooking. He let out a sigh as he dusted off his shirt(Just people being mean since he and his sister are young and people just don't like them, they like coming here and some love throwing insults at them :P). He poured them a cup of wine, then headed towards Ketsu, a frown had been on his tired face, then he froze and looked at Ketsu, the frown replaced with worry. "Lemme guess, guild problems." He said.

Ketsuki shrugged and looked up at him "i guess. What's up with that look on your face ? you look miserable" His ears twitched and he looked into his jayden's eyes.

Right there, ketsu felt he had a connection with him, they both had eye problems and were made fun of for it...well, nobody dared make fun of ketsu anymore now that he was grown but he could still remember the times when he was a child and the guys would make fun of his blind eye.

(Not gonna lie. This is so cute and I'm legit eating popcorn while reading the story.)

Jayden looked at Ketsu. "I'm fine." He gave a soft smile, "They just find reasons to be jerks to me and my sister. Would you like something to eat Ketsuki?" He asked him.

Fried potatoes taste good no matter who makes them"

Jayden nodded. "My sister is a great cook." He said, walking over to the kitchen to deliver the message. "Jade. Ketsuki wants fried potatoes." He told her. Jade let out a nod and began cooking(/frying you know what I mean, however fried potatoes are made haha)

Ketsu waited while drinking a glass of beer, he at least needed something to fill up the empty hole he had inside. He had looked around the bar and saw friends laughing together and lovers enjoying their time together. Suddenly his beer tasted bitter and he felt a stab of envy.

After a while, the potatoes were cooked and brought to Jayden to take to Ketsu. He smiled softly at Ketsu, setting the plate of fried potatoes down in front of Ketsu. "Here you go." He said.

Ketsu took a fry and munched on it, his tail slightly wagging without him noticing. "it's good" Ketsu said, taking another one.
Ketsu looked ay Jayden and said "how come you're so skinny? Does this wrist even belong to a man?" He blurted out.

It was true though, the boy was very slender.

Tatsuma wandered into the tavern he took a seat next to Kila. "Hey there." He said happily.

(Want to have Tatsuma and Kila know eachother? Kila could just could have remembered when he announced his name.)

"How are you today ma'am?" Tatsuma asked politely. His wisps floating about him.

"I'm Tatsuma Shiroyama. The only kitsune ever known to possess wind magic." The bartender handed him some money. Tatsuma gave him a jug. "Don't waste this batch of sake, it took me a week to perfect this one."

"I thought you'd remember your childhood friend Kila." Tatsuma said teasingly. He nudged her arm playfully.

"I'm glad to know I'm not the only kitsune around." He hugged Kila. "I've missed ya so much my friend."

"Not always. I just haven't seen you in a good few months." He let her go. "How've you been my friend?" He said as he sipped some sake.

(Sorry. I've haven't slept in a good few days.)

"To be honest Kila saved my neck quite a few times, growing up. Especially when my magic went out of control." He smiled at Kila. "Thanks for always having my back."

"Not to mention, talented fire mages are rather hard to counter unless you're a water mage." Tatsuma said calmly. "With enough practice, you'll master your flames. You're magic is also controlled through emotion. Use your most powerful memory from your past to invoke your magical strength."

"Yea, her name is Yurina. I saved her life a few years ago. Since that day she's called me her master for some reason." He said sheepisly.

Tatsuma glared at him. "Yurina is a dear person in my life, laughing about her nickname for me is an insult to her." He said this coldly.

"Thanks," He held the coal firmly.

"Yea sorry, you know how defensive I get of people I've grown attached to." He said politely.
