My cats are both Thai street cats that turned up one day and moved in. They have a small frame and are probably a Siamese/ Burmese/Koran cat mix.

Yes, Katie, I am. :) We have a 4 year old Maine Coon tabby mix :)

I'm working on my pre-requisites and apply to the program in the spring (fingers crossed as it's highly competitive!)

1. Just this minute finished taking an exam for a real estate pre-licensing court.

Bookgirl, I prefer contacts but mainly because they can't be easily broken or misplaced. As I'm occasionally accident prone, contacts work better.

For instance, my naughty cat chewed through the left part of my frame once only two days after I bought my glasses. All it took was a single night falling asleep reading with my glasses lying next to me open on the bed, and he went to town on them. Very frustrating .. and expensive!

I love tango and samba, I just can't decide which one I love more! :D
So Jen, you're going to be physical therapist? :D I wanted to be physical therapist but my love towards the laboratory won.
(oh,I'm only 3 months behind on my answer x) )

Three things about me:
1. I live one mile from the Pacific Ocean.
2. I'm a serial plant killer -- I can't keep a cactus alive.
3. My guilty pleasure is boy bands (love One Direction!)

My old cat never chewed anything but she did pee on my garment bag once.

LOL - Way to go, everyone. This looks interesting and a fun way to get to know people a little bit. I want to copy "BookGirl's" #1 and #2, because that's me all over. LOL

1. I'm not a morning person. (My husband got a T-shirt for himself that reads, "Sometimes I Wake Up Grumpy And Sometimes I Let Her Sleep In." :O LOL

2. I love spending time with family and friends.
3. My goal, is to some day, write a children's book, but not sure where to go from here. I've taken a couple of courses, but what next?

Hi, I'm new to this group and these threads are wonderful to read and get to know everyone.

1. I'm an avid reader (duh!). When I was young my mom used to tell me that I devoured books. It's gotten more rampant in my older years and my TBR pile is expedientially growing, especially now that I have more time to myself and at home full time.

2. Hubby is a professional Santa and works in NYC at Radio City Music Hall November and December. Wish I could figure out how to post a pic of him. :) But here's his Santa facebook.
