You’re hitting it out of the park this month!
Finished: Sugar Cookie Murder, Under a Harvest Moon, My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories and My Commander. I really liked them all! The My Commander book reminded me of the zannier Shelly Laurenston’s which is my catnip- yay! New author back catalog to explore📚❤️

I am SO glad you like them! You just never know if someone else will enjoy the ones you recommend, so thanks for letting me know!

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Rebecca I've been terrible at reading this month fromt he awesome list you gave me - BUT - I've got Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer as my next book to start this weekend and then Something About You (FBI/US Attorney, #1) by Julie James after that! My aim is three this month from your list at least!

I finished Neanderthal Seeks Human Neanderthal Seeks Human (Knitting in the City, #1) by Penny Reid , and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!! I started it around midnight and was still reading at 3 a.m. - it is definitely a stay-up-and-read-all-night book, and I am so glad that you recommended it! I am planning to continue with that series since it was so good.

Also, the one I read earlier, the first one in the Nora Roberts' Key series, spurred me to continue on with that series, and I am almost done with the third one. I know that last two weren't on the pick list, but I just had to read them - lol!

Thanks again for such good picks. I am probably going to finish one more - the 'Housewife Assassin' one, but will read the others from your list later because there are so many good ones on there.

Thanks for the suggestions. I got three done, although I can't say I really liked any of them. They all had little flaws that irked me. They were all from my TBR list, so no hard feeling ;-) I am also in the middle of Sandpiper Island which was a new one you suggested. Hopefully that's better than the ones on my TBR list...

Over the Line (The Bodyguards, #4) by Cindy Gerard The One That Got Away by Melissa Pimentel Inner Harbor (Chesapeake Bay Saga #3) by Nora Roberts

I ended up having to read Something About You first and am likely going to finish it tonight. So far I'm liking it! Cinder will be top of my list for next month and I'm super excited to read it!
Thank you again for your awesome picks! I have several on my TBR list now and will let you know as soon as I finish! :)

Laura..devouring books like crumpets (lauzacookie) | 1331 comments Hey Laurala

From the TBR picks i managed

A Fistful of Charms Loved it... this sreis just gets better and better
Death Masks Same goes for theis series, i love all the different Sups and how they all manage to interfere in Harr's life.
Pure Ecstasy was another brill read.
Ceremony in Death this has to be my least fave in death so far, Dallas came across a little to mechanical, i usually love the way the Author dances on the hardness to Dallas line, this time it went a bit to robotic, not enough Rourke moments.....

From your picks
Secondborn I started it on audio... I think it was the Audio and mindset i gave it two hours but was a little too slow, i dont wat to say it was a DNF as i may yet return to it.

Feral Sins OH MY GOD.... I LOVE!!!!! this thanks so much for the rec i just finished book 3..... im chewing through these...... I will check out this author other books too......

So I started this one on the 30th and finished on the 1st, so it half-way counts?

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Rebecca, I did finish Something About You (FBI/US Attorney, #1) by Julie James and really enjoyed it!! One... one book finished this month... pathetic!

BUT I've got several on my list to finish for December so hopefully I can add to it! Thank you so much for the picks and so very sorry I didn't do them the justice they deserved!

One book is enough. What annoys me is when I spend a lot of time and effort picking for someone and they don't even bother reading one. All it takes is to leave a message saying they are busy and cant get around to it. sorry for the rant lol.

message 128: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 987 comments Sonja I only managed 2 books this month, but still have a few of your picks moved over on to my Dec tbr. What I did finish was Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins which I didn't overly love. One of those books that the ending can make or break a series, it broke it for me. However A Study in Scarlet Women (Lady Sherlock, #1) by Sherry Thomas I loved so very much.

Hi Carrie, well you made it through more than me last month so great job! Sorry you didn't care for Mockingjay so much, but glad you liked A Study in Scarlet Women! I'm anxious to read that series myself! I love Sherry Thomas' writing!

Sorry, I've been out of commission for some time. :( My computer broke late last year and got me off schedule. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things by going back and reading old picks.

I just finished Shadowland. I loved the main character. Such a bad ass!

Shadowland (The Mediator, #1) by Meg Cabot

I've started Love Online and Stud Finder. Both good picks so far.

Love Online by Penelope Ward Stud Finder (1001 Dark Nights #67) by Lauren Blakely
