Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Yeah not great, but then you get the plot twist, the first ever plot twist that I just had no idea was coming, it was actually insane XD I had to physically put the book down and just sit there and stare into space with my mouth open. Don't ask me what book it was, because I can't remember, but it was crazy XD I could almost re-read that series again.

message 552: by Jamie (new)

Jamie There a a few decent twists in it. I don't think I will reread it but it is fun.

message 553: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Yeah easy and good for YA BR challenge.

message 554: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments I'll have Firestar's Quest (Warriors Super Edition, #1) by Erin Hunter and Blood of Requiem (Song of Dragons, #1) by Daniel Arenson finished up tomorrow.

message 555: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Yep :)

message 556: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Age of blood done will review and post when I get up

message 557: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Changed my mind won't have Blood of Requiem up today. It doesn't count for my challenge after all that

Jamie Maddison wrote: "Changed my mind won't have Blood of Requiem up today. It doesn't count for my challenge after all that"
Eh? What challenge? Did you start it (should I add to the currently reading list)?

message 559: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Another challenge I'm in.

Nope not reading that one. I'm going to finish Firestar's Quest and Forest of a Thousand Lanterns today. And then pick up The Hierophant's Daughter (The Disgraced Martyr Trilogy, #1) by M.F. Sullivan

message 560: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments I also finished Firestar's Quest

message 561: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Nice! Hopefully Alaina will be by soon so we can get new category cards. We will be getting 2 so I am excited to be able to go through our bank and post a bunch more.

message 562: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments I'll remind her, she's sprinting with me :)

message 563: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Yeah I love being able to do that on YA BR. Here it doesn't have the same urgency haha.

message 564: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Not as much but still nice. Although lately scoring has slowed down so much overall on YA. Sarah must have a lot on her plate. She hasn't been reading much either.

message 565: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod

41. Margaret Atwood's next book is a thriller titled ________.
48. Why am I broke? ________.

message 566: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Yeah and whenever one team is done, the other isn't, which means we never know where we both stand.

message 567: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Another title card? Ugh.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments 48. Why am I broke? ________.

message 570: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments I think that's a card we'll just have to get rid of. Like put in books that are average

message 571: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments 48 Sleeping?

message 572: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

message 575: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Court would be perfect for being broke. Maddison how ACOWAR coming along?

message 576: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Class might work for 48 too but yeah nothing very impressive for that one.

message 577: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Oooh or maybe Book of Spells for 48?

message 578: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

message 579: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I have a book with Others in the series title. Would that work for broke? I could be done it by tonight.

message 580: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments I won't be finishing Acowar for weeks XD Shae's paused it, so I've paused it too.

message 581: by Jamie (new)

Jamie 41 ideas
Princess (Paper Princess by Erin Watt)
Bittersweet
The Professor Woos the Witch
Cherub (Class A (Cherub #2) by Robert Muchamore)

These might work on a more ironic level for a thriller.

Sure. I'm good with those. ^-^

message 583: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I read Muchamore as Munchamore and I was like we should use that! :(

message 585: by Jamie (new)

message 586: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Yup. Nothing really good. :(

message 587: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

message 589: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Jamie wrote: "Same with Turbulent Sea could use 'Sisters' ?"

For broke?

message 590: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Children would be good for broke but no one is reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1) by Ransom Riggs

message 591: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments This one would also be funny - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

message 592: by Jamie (last edited Nov 25, 2018 04:28PM) (new)

Jamie Well I have to go to work. Be back in the morning. If everyone can share their top 2-4 ideas for these cards and which of the ideas mentioned (or new ones) are best so we can find what might make Alaina laugh that would be awesome.

message 593: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Bookbuyer wrote: "Jamie wrote: "Same with Turbulent Sea could use 'Sisters' ?"

yeah. not really funny but sister can burn a hole in the wallet.

message 594: by Jamie (new)

Jamie okay so no new ideas so lets go with:

41. Margaret Atwood's next book is a thriller titled ________. Using these answers

Princess (Paper Princess by Erin Watt)
Bittersweet
The Professor Woos the Witch
Cherub (Class A (Cherub #2) by Robert Muchamore)

So @ Maddison and @ Nikk books for you both to post :)

We still need ideas for:
48. Why am I broke? ________. Or should we use our least likely to be good answer titles to get them out of the way or skip it?

message 595: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Can't we wait for good ones?

message 596: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments We're still waiting on you and Book to read Renegades and Archenemies,
Book needs to finish Girls of Paper and Fire and Enchantment of Ravens.

Can you guys maybe focus those ones so we can get new cards?

message 597: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Maddison wrote: "Can't we wait for good ones?"

Are you just referring to 48 only or do you dislike the ideas for 41 too? I don't mind waiting if people are willing to try and read books that will fit so if you want to take that on for your reading then we can do that but based on how everyone wants to read right now I am not sure if that is a good idea. Especially for both cards. Everyone is mood reading and not reading for categories and honestly while I have a reading plan, none of mine fit any better than what we have finished.

message 598: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 497 comments Just the broke one. It's not a horrible card.

Well my next reads are Hierophant's Daughter and Lady Thief, so I could use Daughter and Thief for broke card?

Jamie Maddison wrote: "We're still waiting on you and Book to read Renegades and Archenemies,

I am reading Renegades (cant read Archenemies until then) but can only read this at home and I also have other BRs I at least have to get far enough into to. But for anyones claimed spots (mine or Books) if you see a better or equal answer in our bank I am not against swapping us out :) Although Archenemies is probably the best for those but Renegades or the Oprah 2 partner can likely be swapped. Just let me know what you see that is good. :) Meanwhile is it my main focus.

Okay :) I like those. Take the spots :)

So maybe what we can do for that one is give it a few days, let you read those two and then see what is finished. If no good fits are there we can bluff the last two or if someone comes up with ideas or books we can keep it going. :) As long as we got books in progress for them it is all good. :)
