Halloween is coming up!
Three characters you would love to cosplay - alternatively, tell us about characters you have cosplayed! Or, what would be a very difficult costume to put together? OR, what are the best cosplays you've seen?

Really a lot of options this week.

Oh man is this my category. Lol, well, characters I have cosplayed were Sylphrena, Vin, Moraine, Tifa (FF VII). I really want to try Jasnah and Azure and maybe an Elderling, though I'd need to get taller probably.

I did Lagertha and Lady Loki a bit ago. If there were a magic wand to sew everything for me, I'd love to do Cersei from GoT, but as it is, I'll stick to leatherworking. :)

This thread really needs photos.

I would definitely cosplay someone from Vikings just so I would have a reason to grow a beard. Lagertha always has awesome hair so that had to be fun.

My niece’s birthday is in October so she has had two costume parties. I wore a Superman shirt to one and a Captain America shirt to the other. So obviously I’m crap at costumes.

Oh I'd love to see cosplays if anyone is willing to share!

hmm.. I'd really love to cosplay a villain or character with gray morals so my final answer is

-Bellatrix LeStrange: this would be incredibly easy for me as I wouldn't even need to do anything different with my hair

-Monza Murcatto from First Law, because you could do some scar makeup and wear cool gloves and my resting b**** face would match

-Vin from Mistborn because, well.. mistcloaks. I'm ready for the drama

My school did a cosplay thing a while ago but I wasn’t much into it so I just came in to see what everyone wore and it was pretty funny since one of the people went to comic con and did cosplay so it was a bit unfair

Anyway if I could I would probably cosplay as

Elend from mistborn- I could rock the lol

White blood cell from cells at work- I quite like the outfit so definitely

Marko from Saga- I could rock this

We don't really celebrate Halloween in Germany (at least not in my region 😅) and if we dress up for a halloween party the costumes/cosplays are supposed to be creepy, scary or bloody! But we've got carnival around febuary where everyone goes crazy for nearly a week :D

Me and some friends are tying to sew a group costume at least every other year. This is a little older (and wasn't my idea, I never even watched Sailor Moon 😅), but I guess it classifies as cosplay.



So and now I want to see some pictures, too 😜

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s cosplay and you and your friends costumes are pretty cool (o haven’t seen sailor moon either so I don’t know) I’m assuming this was years ago since you do look younger here

I wouldn’t mind doing it in real life but I don’t really do events so it would be a bit pointless and slightly embarrassing since I’m not sure if there’s anyone like me that does this funnily enough

Was the bloody mask part of a Halloween costume? Really great profile pic.

I never watched sailor moon either but it’s a good group costume.

Once I did Wilma Flintstone until I was asked to remove my heels :)

But the easiest costume was Hepburn, I only bought a cigarette holder and used my black satin dress with lace hat-like hairclip and long gloves.

The rest was random scary vampire zombie stuff. But I'd like to do Daenerys Targaryen one day.

1. Something really dramatic and Vistorian, like Wax's Mistcoat Cowboy getup.
2. One of the double breasted military uniforms. I'd say Kaladin's from Words of Radiance or the Amestris Military Uniform from Fullmetal Alchemist. They're actually pretty similar.
3. A white bedsheet with two eyeholes cut into it.

Bonus;
Cassandra Cain's first Batgirl Costume, which is SO CREEPY GOOD and the first female superhero costume which made me sit up and go I LIKE THAT ONE.

Thanks! It was 2015, not that long ago. Maybe it's also because I'm not wearing glasses ;)

Thank you. Yes, it was taken on a halloween party and I just recycled my profile pic from last year because I was in den mood :)

I can relate to the glasses I mean one minute your normal but the minute you take the glasses off it’s like your another person

I would question why you are all in the woods but I remembered your stalker profession maybe you should go as a creepy stalker for this Halloween 😂😂😂

My Vin is in one of my profile photos. The rest I don't know how to post here. I also did Wonder Woman. Forgot about that one.

Your Vin and Elend cosplay looks great but that guy nailed that Brandon Sanderson cosplay. ;)

I really will enjoy wearing Camp Halfblood T-shirt with beads necklace playing Percy Jackson from PJ series.

Ha, thank you :-) I love my husband's Eland more than my Vin. Next year we were thinking of doing something from the Reckoners with some friends. We'll see. Haven't started anything yet.
