A small outpost for the rebels to gather and consult the most recent attacks on the Empire.

Jinha sat on a haystack way in the back, sewing up a piece of broken clothing.
Due to his bad eyesight, Jinha tented to prick himself a lot. With a slight hiss of pain, he took a napkin and patted off the blood.
in a few minutes, he was done with his sweater.

Jinha sighed while he sat up, almost stumbling on a haystack. He really kept his guard down when he wasn't doing anything important.
once all this mess is all over and the king is brought down, I'll make an orphanage for Xandria's children who need homes, he thought, the dream making him softly smile.

It wasn't really manly so he kept these things to himself, many would argue it was a woman's job to take care of children or to sew clothing. Many people that knew jinha would have never guessed he liked these types of things since he was always so stoic and scary looking.

A window on the far side of the building slightly creaked open as the hooded figure dropped inside. It was currently nighttime and Daniel had brought a candle with him, in which he proceeded to light with a small match. The candle’s light bounced off the walls, casting shadows around the building as he set the light down onto a small barrel at his waist height and pulled back his hood. Seeing he clearly wasn’t alone, Daniel’s face gathered up a small smile as his optimistic personality kicked in. “Ah, hello there,” he stated, clearly reminding himself of his lack of knowledge towards remembering names. He’d seen this rebel somewhere before, he just couldn’t lay a finger on it.

Jinha had not seen the flickering light but almost jumped in surprise, quickly turning around to face who was there. He squinted his eyes and stood quiet, trying to look at the face that had been brightened byt the candle's light.

He finally saw who it was, his expression confused as he awkwardly shifted.
"...uh.." His voice was quiet, almost hushed. He had seen this guy before somewhere too, he was definitely a rebel if he knew about this place.

"rebel..., right? do you need something?" Rebels didn't usually come here for friendly visits since he kinda lived here in his lonesome, jinha figured it was something important.

Daniel looked up at the man and heavily nodded, the smile across his face fading. A yawn broke free, long and quite loud as he grabbed the candle and walked over to where the other rebel was standing. “I’m just here to sleep, nothing else really.” Looking up, Daniel’s happy aura had faded very quickly as tiredness looked over him. The male was tired and very much so. “Do you mind if I sleep here? I’d rather I just not have to walk another dozen miles to my little house.” His brown eyes turned to look at the rebel, the chocolate brown soft and faded out into the distance as if he couldn’t see at all. “It’ll be warmer here than outside either way.”

Jinha could now see the boy's face more clearly. He was a pretty boy with brown eyes. He nodded his head, a way of saying he didn't mind and that he would let him sleep for the night.

Jinha pointed to a haystack on the other side of the small place, which had a blanket over it. That was actually where Jinha slept, but he didn't mind giving it up for the night. Sometimes he thought he was much too generous but it was just the way he was.

The man of very few words turned around and sat on a haystack on the other side of the room which faced the wall, a mini lantern beside him as he started working on his sweater. "night"

Daniel raised an eyebrow as he followed the man’s nod over to a haystack with a small blanket on top of it. Not giving a second thought nor a second glance, the man walked over to the haystack and buried himself beneath the cover, letting out a gentle sigh as he turned his body over to watch the other male. Whatever he was doing, it seemed to Daniel it might be important. Either way, the usually talkative boy went silent, his eyes flickering back and forth between the man and his little sweater he was working on. If Daniel needed to sleep, his body would’ve showed him so. Either way, he was curious as always.

Jinha worked on the sweater for 2 hours, staying up late. It was finally done. He pulled out a smaller one and admired them both.

The sweaters looked like the size of...children's clothing. The sweaters weren't definetly for him. A soft yawn escaped his mouth as he layed down on a differnt stack and drifted too sleep. He had pricks all over his fingers and looked tired as hell but soon in the morning, the smiles of some certain little ones would make it all worth it.

((Next Morning))


Jinha was up early. There was a small loaf of bread next too Daniel where he slept.

Daniel watched the man quietly, the light of the candle reflecting off his tired eyes as he soon drifted off into sleep. The sweater didn't make him wonder at all, surprisingly.

Awaking, Daniel yawned as he turned and slid off the haystack, eyeing the bread quietly as he took it and ripped it in half, the smell of the bread soon flowing through the air as he took a deep breath. "Thank you," he said, biting into it.

Jinha was at the entrance of the hideout, giving two poor children each a sweater and a small loaf of bread that seemed to be his.
"thank you, mister Kang!" The children of two said happily while hugging him.

'"stay out of trouble," Jinha said, a small smile as he watched the children go. He would rather give up everything he had for the poor kids of the kingdom.

Daniel looked over to the entrance, eating the last of his piece of bread before walking over to the man and gesturing the last piece towards the man. "Here, for you," he stated, a smile coming onto his face. Noting what he was doing, he glanced at the two children. "Who're they?"

Jinha reluctantly took the piece, feeling a bit embarrassed that he had watched. "orphans." He sighed softly, not really looking at Daniel's face but instead looking at the wrong direction, but only for a few seconds before looking at the correct direction the boy was in.

That could have given Daniel a hint that the man before him was blind, or at least half blind since he sometimes stumbled or looked off into the wrong direction of not spoken too loud enough.
Jinha walked past daniel and over to a shelf, pulling out a bag.
On the shelfthere was a few old and dusty books that jinha coukdn't read clearly but one said 'the 3 floating kingdoms' and the other said. 'Poetry'.

"i will be leaving now, i need to make a trip somewhere"

Yurina was sitting in a tree, polishing her daggers. She was humming a quiet tune. Her bow laid across her lap. The string freshly strung. She jumped down the second her gear was prepped. She began walking about the base.

"Orphans?" Daniel repeated, watching the man walk past him and over to a shelf. "Wait, you're just leaving me here? But-- like we haven't even talked or anything!" Making his way over to the man, he stopped a little ways from him as he continued to watch him. "What even is your name? I don't believe we've ever. . . meet."

Yurina stopped by the request board in front of her barracks. No requests were posted as of yet. "When evening falls the requests will come flooding in." She waved hello to one of her skeleton knights that was guarding the entrance.

Jinha looked a bit surprised when the boy wanted to know more about him. He had always been in his lonesome and was never really talkative.
"yes..those were orphans, poor children with no family or home" Jinha stuffed a few weapons into his bag. " My name is Jinha Kang, and when this mess is over and the king is slain, I'll build an orphanage for the children who need a home". This was the most Jinha had talked in...forever, actually. He usually just shrugged or pointed at things, making physical gestures s if he ever wanted to communicate.

"your face is familiar, maybe, but we officially haven't met" His voice was deep but yet sweet and slow, like honey.

Jinha paused and scratched the back of his head awkwardly, a slight shyness could be felt coming from the man.
"I'm going to the quagmire, but it's dangerous there."

Yurina overheard the conversation. She went over to Jinha. "Need any assistance my friend?" She said politely.

Daniel stopped, his body calm as he slightly nodded his head. Orphans. . . he thought, sighing. Looking upwards, a smile formed onto his face as he turned to look at the man. "Well Jinha Kang, it's nice to meet you. I'm Daniel, Daniel Adam that is." He slightly chuckled, his eyes widening and humor stopped as he heard the last statement. "Really? That's strange. I could've sworn we've met before. Either way, there's alot of rebels out there, ey?"

"ah, yeah" Jinha stopped talking when the head leader of the Rebels walked over.
Jinha only shook his head, "..not necessary madam", he was always convinced yurina should take some time off, being the leader must be tiresome.
"..uh.., only if you want too" Jinha headed torwards the door, looking back at yurina and then at daniel.
He always preffered to work alone but he wasn't going to stop anyone who wanted to come along, and a little part wanted to get to know daniel a bit better. He was an interesting boy.

"I'm only offering my help. You don't have to accept it." Yurina said. She stood with her skeletons.

Truth be told he was actually creeped out by her skeletons, the reason why he would sometimes avoid going on too many missions with her but this time he figured he could use some help.
"you can help" was the only thing he said before walking away and into the town.

"Alright then." She left her skeletons and followed Jinha.
