Hey there, Cassie! I'd say my writing-mode must-have is good music. I'm really partial to video game soundtracks.

Hey, Siddhi! Sometimes I work on multiple books at the same time. I recently was writing my upcoming new romance "Raising Hell" at the same time as the fourth installment to my dystopian OUTLIER series. When I get to a certain point in a book, however, I tend to need to focus all my efforts into it to see it to the end.

Hi, Nicole! I JUST finished my latest M/M romance "Raising Hell", which comes out this Friday. I'll soon start on a new romance, as well as resume working on the fourth installment to my dystopian OUTLIER series.

I'd say I identify with quite a lot of them, if not all. I think a lot of authors say this, but there's a piece in me in all of my characters, even the bad ones =P When you spend so much time telling their stories, it's inevitable that you relate to their struggles and live vicariously through their victories and blush when they mess up royally.

That's a tough question! I can't pick a favorite, but I can definitely say my latest book "Raising Hell" (which just came out yesterday) was one of my most freeing experiences in writing. I really let loose and more or less allowed the no-apologies main character to take over. I had a lot of fun with this one!

Maybe one of my most emotionally gratifying experiences as a writer, however, would have to be the writing of The Beautiful Dead and its sequels. The writing of them took me to very dark and very light places, and as an author, you just can't recover easily from that.
