I finished listening to The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden

This is the second book in the series. I would rate this 4/5 stars. It isn't as good as the first, but I loved the storyline.

Something that I think is wonderful about this book is that our main character can talk to horses. I used to wish I could do that when I was little so it was fun reading about a girl who can.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik was the first book I've read by this author, but I'd definitely be interested in reading more.

This story had the perfect mix of dark, brooding suspense, mythical creatures, magic, and romance.

That sounds like my kind of book! This time of year feels like the perfect time to read it too! I'll check that out! Thanks for sharing with us :D

At the beginning of the month I had two book finishes that I missed!

2nd Chance by James Patterson

and The Fate of Mercy Alban by Wendy Webb

Finished listening to The Outsider by Stephen King

This was such a surprising read! I have never really wanted to pick up any of Stephen King's books because I'm a weenie. XD This one was more of a Mystery/Thriller with a touch of Horror mixed in instead of just straight pee your pants horror.

I'm more than willing to read more of his books now as long as they are as good as this one :D
