I think having different threads for each set of chapters would be a good idea.

Hello. My name is Patrick! I'm 23, and I'm from the UK. Cannot wait to get to know you all and take part in this buddy read with you :)

Ahh, so it's about 5 pm where you are?

yup

What do you currently study then?

ooooooo noice! :) I just finished university about 6 months ago and I did Choreography and Dance

A blessing and a curse to be honest. I really want to go back because I really want to be a university lecturer and dance practitioner.

Hey Lori! Welcome :)
Hi, I'm Audrey. I am 26, and I am from the Southwest US. I am excited to finally read this book (It was the book I wanted to read last TT and never started) with everyone!

Day One: Reach chapter 7
Day Two: Chapter 14
Day Three: Chapter 21
and so on until on the final day to have finished the book?

Hey Audrey! Thank you for making this group :)

I think spreading it out is a good idea. If you read an average of 7 chapters per day (which is about 50ish pages a day), you will finish on the last day of TT, so I think that is just a general guideline to follow if you want to make sure you finish before TT ends. I know for sure there will be some days I can read more and some days I may not have time to read much at all.

That's fair enough. I think I'll stick to it as much as I can to motivate me. I believe in highlighting on what you said earlier, it might be wise to make a tread for each seven chapter block so that we don't spoil anyone who hasn't had time to read on a specific day?

As of right now yes, just so we each have a general idea of where everyone is in the book, and each chapter is fairly short so it won't feel as though it is taking a long time to read the book.
Do you have other ideas for structuring?

I think that will be a good idea! I most likely won't be able to fully follow the general 7 chapters a day with working 7 days a week, but I think the separate discussion threads will help everyone to discuss the book without feeling as though they are too far behind the other members (hopefully).

what is the paper about?"
I'm writing about the development of the wallpaper in Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper" into a symbol of how domestic life is trapping the narrator.

Hey, welcome!
