.
Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial...

ONE nomination per member

To encourage participation from more members, the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Brittany, you will *not* be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

DEADLINE - 25Nov18 5p CDT, or 5 nominations (whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

NOMINATED THEMES:
Happy endings - Koren
By a Nobel Prize winner - Donna

Relating to Winter - Holly
About family - Licha-Olivia
Time travel - Karen Kay

December 8 is PRETEND TO BE A TIME TRAVELER day.

(I want to read A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain)

message 7: by Licha-Olivia (new)

Licha-Olivia | 357 comments For the holidays, I think about family: read a book about a family (example: Little Women)

Karen what specific task would you want: time travel? Arthurian legend? England? Set in the past (or future)?

BC, I wasn't thinking beyond any sort of time traveling story.

NOMINATIONS CLOSED.

I'll put the poll up after Thanksgiving. (Busy preparing for the feast ... and I'll be in a turkey coma tomorrow)

WE HAVE A WINNER!

Holly's suggestion of "relating to winter" came out on top and will be our theme for December.
