Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Completed #38 (based on true story) - The Perfect Nanny by Leila Slimani. I was really enjoying this book. Good writing, interesting characters, loved how the story unfolded, and then it just stopped. No real resolution, ugh. Good effort, but I need a conclusion. 3.5 stars

35/50

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Completed #37 (ghost story) - How to Hang a Witch by Adriana Mather. I really enjoyed this book a lot! The book is incredibly descriptive with interesting characters and a nicely paced plot. Being in Salem while I read it helped too! My only criticism was that the dialogue got a bit muddied at the end. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

36/50

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Completed #18 (superpower) - Haunting the Deep by Adriana Mather. I really hope she continues with this series! I love this world she's created and the characters! Left with some questions, though. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars

message 1389: by Megan (new)

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #7 (1 mill ratings) - The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I'm incredibly impressed that the author could portray a unique character like Charlie, who today would possibly be diagnosed on the spectrum, and still portray the quintessential high school experience. It's also further proof that high school doesn't really change, just the fashion and technology. I loved the writing. My only criticism was that I wanted to know to whom Charlie was writing. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars
