Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #46 (unusual chapters) - The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne. I really enjoyed Boyne's writing! There were some beautiful images he conveyed. Overall, I liked the story, but I found it hard to connect with the characters. I liked them more towards the end, but I just couldn't sink into the story as I wanted. The history it conveyed, however, was stark and important. I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars

A book that has inspired a common phrase or idiom -
Diamonds are Forever, by Ian Fleming.

This could probably count for two common phrases; both "diamonds are forever" and "shaken, not stirred," since Bond's famous catchphrase was pretty cemented by this fourth book.
