When I couldn't get a copy of The Alchemist I started this one early and finished a couple days ago. I'm looking forward to everyone's thoughts. I gave it 4 stars, but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 for certain parts.

I can see that, Glenda. This was a difficult book, but I was so gripped throughout and the fact that the subject matter was published in 1940 blew me away! I had to go 5 stars
