Kimberly The book Outside The Lines by Amy Hatvany, is a genre of domestic fiction. My character David is the type of person who suffers from a mental illness which causes him to have these breakdowns that separates him from his wife and his daughter Eden. David faces a major conflict when him and his wife get into an argument and he has had a couple of drinks and did not take his medicine and he has a terrible breakdown. When had this breakdown his daughter Eden was upstairs listening to the whole outburst going down on page 99 he screams “fuck you” “there was a terrible crash strong enough to make the wall i was leaning against shudder...my father upended the table … he’s been aiming for her.” At this point David did not really have a care for attempting to hurt his wife knowing his daughter is upstairs listening. I believe that he has hit some type of breaking point to where its heart breaking knowing that he was going to hurt his wife.

Do you have a character that has attempted or has caused any type of physical harm to the ones they love or to others close to them?
