That's what ruined it for me. Plus I absolutely LOATHE it when the woman keeps a pregnancy secret. That is the most unfair fucked up thing ever. The father deserves to be told period.

Plus he's military so Emmie missed out on all her benefit rights

2ND BOOK

I liked that one more than the first, but I do have a soft spot for Regency romance.

So things are a little redundant with you earning the Speed Dating Rose again this week. 😅

But you changed things up a little earning 3 roses for Date 3. Raine didn't complete the task for Date 3 and needs to complete the task this week or she will be eliminated from the challenge. ☹️

The Viscount's Christmas Temptation was going to be the book I used if I did an audio.

Thanks for letting me know Kat. I never thought to check! I read it as it was the second in the series and they hooked me at the end of first book. We will do another one as there’s plenty time.

So the only task for the next date that worries me is the "recommended by a friend or goodreads" one. My friend's seem to mostly recommend YA to me even though I very rarely read it and most of the goodreads recs are too long for me to knock out in a couple of hours. Also, no offense to the team, but I'm not buying a book for this either.

So..., is it against the rules for us to recommend books to each other?

When I get back from the gym I'll recommend a few short audios from the romance package

OK then. If that one gets called, don't count on me for one of the 1st 4. Although I am still going through the goodreads recs. But so far most are full length novels. My friends' recs are mainly non-romance and mostly obscure stuff that I'd likely have to buy.

I found one in my Goodreads romance recs that I apparently own already and it's also on Audible romance package. But it's 181 pages. So not super long but not a 2 hour read either. But at least it's something.

And d'oh. I read that "nope" as no we can't make recs. But now I reread my question.

So that helps. I don't like hard core erotica, YA or M/M romances. (sorry if that sounds picky, I'm really not, I just don't care for those)

I actually don't know how to recommend as its not something I've done before. I'm sure I can figure it out and reciprocate if you'd like.

So sorry, After the holiday I got busy with a few unexpected issues at work (mainly a few people leaving) and I've had to pick up their projects that have deadlines in early January.

I did read the Date 3, but I didn't get a chance to post my completion in time but just in case it counts I'll post it.

I've also picked my Holiday book A Christmas Dream. Hopefully, I could get it read within the next few days.
