Thanks, Karen. For those that read YA and like heartfelt stories (don't mind a tearjerker!), I will recommend All the Bright Places. I thought it was great.

Is it just me or has there been more dog-based movies lately? I feel like the last year or two and again this year, there have been more movies with dogs as a main character than there used to be.

All The Bright Places is in fact a real tearjerker, yup! Read it two or three years ago and I really liked it. Might reread it this year, even though I don't really like to reread books... (there are just so many other books in this world to read!)

Thank you this list is excellent, i also thought Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI was coming out this year.

I don't think that list necessarily includes every book to movie for 2019. So, if you find another one that works go for it.

The best I can find for Killers of the Flower Moon is that there is no exact release date yet. It is expected to be released late 2019 or in 2020. It looks good too.
