Like this page and I will randomly pick books to review after the holidays. After writing I realize how hard it is for a newly self-published author, and I love to read and review, more than I love writing.
My favorite genre is romance, and I have expectations when it comes to romance books. I hate back and forth, mainly when it last to the end of the book. And I love steamy romance reads. I will be honest in my reviews. And, although I love romance, I will not read anything. As I mentioned before, I am picky. I will not read no -- M/M W/W I do like reverse harem as long as it does not involve those two things. And I am not a fan of paranormal romance. Also, I am not a fan of lazy writing. So, if the book does not contain more then one or two chapters, I will not read it. I also, will not read a series that is divided into parts, as I feel that is unnecessary. I am an avid reader, and love nothing more than a romance book I can escape in. I also like an author who puts effort into their books and a lot of thought.
Lately, I have been stepping out of my genre to help other authors with little to no reviews. I discovered recently, that self publish authors will volunteer to help you quicker than anyone. So, that is why I have decided to help authors with little to no reviews.
If your book is not enrolled in Kindle Select, I will accept a PDF file, or an EPUB.
Also, can you share this page on your facebook pages and in your author groups?

Ann Boelter | 7 comments Hi Terri,
I had to smile when I read your likes and dislikes. I was going to put an excerpt from my author page, because it mentions many of those exact things, but I'll put a link instead. I also like carefully thought out books and tastefully erotic love scenes between a man and a woman. I dislike poorly edited books, false drama put in to fill space, and stories chopped into bits to make a "series" (really dislike that one.)
With that in mind, I think you will very much enjoy my recently published historical/medieval viking romance, Nena. It is enrolled in kindle select, but I am also running a 3 day holiday special from 12/28-12/30 where kindle copies will be available for free.
I'll go your facebook page now and like it, and if you have any questions for me about Nena, let me know.
Thanks,
Ann Boelter

Mary Van Winkle (mary_vanwinkle) | 13 comments Hi!

So my book is Finding Wonderland (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...). And its more of a fantasy adventure with only hints of romance so I don't expect you to review it but I did want you to know that in the spirit of solidarity liked your page and shared it on my author page (https://m.facebook.com/maryvwrites/?r...) and I'd love it if you'd check out either of those pages.

Happy New Year!

Ann Boelter | 7 comments Hi Terri,
First, thanks for the great 5 star review of Nena! It is very much appreciated. Unfortunately Amazon removed it from my reviews after a few days and now I see that your Facebook page has also been removed. Let me know if you will be creating your own book review website to replace it with.
Sincerely,
Ann Boelter

Adam Thielen | 9 comments Can you review my new space opera sci-fi? It's on KU. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MS7DFYN

Thanks!

Heather Hawley | 6 comments Hi Terri,

I am a new author with no reviews and would really appreciate your feedback. My book Imprint was released last year and is a paranormal romance. It is pretty short, basically a novella, so it shouldn't take long to read.

Let me know if you have an interest at [email protected] and I'd be happy to send you a copy.

Thank you,
- HH

Blair McDowell (blair_mcdowell) | 8 comments Hi Terri. I would really appreciate a new review for my soon-to-be-re-released book, Delighting in Your Company. It is a time travel romance with a lot of suspense. It is set in the Caribbean, with a lot of history of the 1800's sugar industry, slavery, etc. Here is a link to the book on Reading Alley: https://www.readingalley.com/book/vie...

You can also contact me at [email protected]. Thanks for your consideration

Hey Terri, I'm certain I speak for many of us who appreciate your taking the time to help out new/newly published authors. I understand your primary interest is romance, but, since you are willing to step outside your favorite genre to help us out, I will provide a free electronic copy for you to review when/if you have the time. It's a Science Fiction/Fantasy unlike anything you've read before (I know, sounds somewhat brash, but my interest in uncommon knowledge challenges the Sci Fi status quo and goes way outside set boundaries for most Sci Fi) Now, it is part of a series, however, I wrote in such a way that the first can stand alone, leaving reader oblivious to the fact the story continues.
In truth, it could be described as Science Fiction Fantasy Romance, I'll let you be the judge by providing a link to my preview page here: http://alexpink3.wixsite.com/bstwi/pr...

If I manage to pique your interest, here is the ebook download link: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/j7lxnz0uns available for all interested parties...

Addie Abacus | 11 comments Hi Terri,

Thank you so much for your offer to check out books by newly published authors. I see you are willing to review books other than romance, but would a Chapter Book complex enough to captivate a fifth grader be of interest? The age range is 7 to 10 years and it is a very fun, fast, easy read. Morgan and the Forty Thieves is on Amazon and I believe that it is free for Kindle unlimited readers at the moment. I would also be happy to send you a PDF or MOBI. Here is the link on Amazon with descriptions, prior reviews, etc.

And you can contact me at addieabacus(at)gmail.com

Thanks so much, Patricia Tobin (pen name Addie Abacus)

C.S. Cooper (cscooper) | 4 comments Hi Terri,

I've just deployed my first original novel, Final Flight of the Ranegr to smash words and kindle. (Yes Ranegr is the actual title)

I'd love it if you could write a review for it. I'd be happy to give you a smash words coupon.

Thanks!

Michael Miller | 4 comments Hi Terri,

I don't know if this offer is still open, but I have a number of short stories on Amazon that need a little love in terms of reviews. Most of my work would either be termed literary or historical fiction. All are available via KU for free: https://www.amazon.com/M.S.-Miller/e/...

Thanks for doing this, even if you don't end up reviewing mine, I appreciate what you're doing!

message 15: by Willow (new)

Willow Thomson Hi Terri,

Thank you for offering to read and review. I am very newly published (nine days) and have no reviews yet. My novel is soft science fiction with a female main character and a touch of romance. It is not the usual sci fi... Ivan provide ePub, mobi, PDF.
