I read most things as well. I tend to not be as much into things that fall under YA or Chick-lit but there have been exceptions. If it's possible I would love if one of the picks each month came off of my books I own tbr shelf so that if I can't get one of the others from the library or store I know I will have one available but if you dont see anything on there you would reccomend it's fine if you don't.
I'm gonna look at your shelves and reviews and get you your picks shortly :)

Already on your TBR
Locke & Key, Vol. 1: Welcome to Lovecraft - Really interesting blend of horror and mystery. I very much enjoyed this myself, and hope you will too if you read it.
The Graveyard Book - I have loved everything by Neil Gaiman I have read and this just stole my heart. It was strange, beautiful, bittersweet at times, and just amazing.
The Children of Húrin - Tolkien is always a good choice and it looks like you have enjoyed his other works so far. I will use this one as a replacement for Pet Sematary

Not on your current TBR
And Then There Were None - You mentioned liking mystery in your sign up post so I wanted to include a mystery pick. This book kept me guessing until the very end and if you end up reading this one I'll be interested to know if you guess the ending before finishing. (I didn't!)
Homeland - One of my favorite fantasy books of all times, second only to The Hobbit. I've reread this about 3 or 4 times now and it's always a treat.

Already on your tbr list
The light of the fireflies by Paul Pen
This book is kinda weird and twisted but it does make for a good story :)
The Maids of Misfortune by M Louisa Locke
This one is pretty good:)
Perfect little Monsters and other stories by amy cross
This one is also on my tbr list:)
Not on your list
The Broken girls by Simone St. James
This novel is really neat, it jumps between two time periods and has ghost a murder and even a dirty cop getting into the mix really good!
The Death of Mrs Westaway by Ruth Ware. Ive enjoyed all the Ruth ware novels!
Hope you like some of these!:)

Ill have my recs for you for February sometime today!

Orphan Train - While I personally just thought this one was ok, it seems like something you would enjoy more than I did.
Jane Eyre - One of my favorite classics
Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch - I absolutely love this book. And the series is supposed to be coming out on Amazon video this year.
Sphere - Crichton is one of my favorite sci-fi authors. If you shoose to read this one I hope you will love it as well. There is a movie for this book.
Monstress, Vol. 1: Awakening - Last a graphic novel pick. Stunning artwork and a very nicely built world and story.

No worries I totally understand life happens! I’m moving this weekend so don’t feel rushed at all! Hope everyone is feeling better the flu really really sucks especially with little ones!

As a reminder, you will be partners from January 1st - March 31st
~Pick 2-5 recommendations for your partner each month and from those selections they will read at least one. You will do the same from their selections for you.
~Share your thoughts either as you read or when you finish with your partner. Whichever works better for you.
~It is up to the two of you if you want your curator to pick only from your tbr or if you are fine with them not sticking to a shelf.
