Daisy | 1399 comments Spotted any similarities between MSTV and MBTW? Post them here! Let's see how many we can find!

I know it would be pretty hard to do this discussion without giving away spoilers, so if you haven't read all of the two series so far and don't want it to be spoilt, you might want to stop here!

Enjoy yourselves! :)

Daisy | 1399 comments Okay, here's some I spotted:

1. Evil head cheerleaders.
2. Main characters who are identical twins.
3. One of the twins is a mythical creature.

Haven't got any more right now but I'll have a think...

Yup! :D

Daisy | 1399 comments 5. Main characters that are thirteen years old.
6. Books leading up to a dance (for example Puppy Love {MBTW #2} and Love Bites {MSTV #6} or Twin Spins {MSTV #9}).

Sophie | 1254 comments 7. Ed Yancey (MBTW) and Garrick Stevens (MSTV) are quite similar. They both have the same sense of humour and can be a little stupid sometimes.

"What it's your [Daniel's] birthday today, too, just like Justin? Whoa, what are the chances of that!" Ever heard of twins Ed? Haha.

Daisy | 1399 comments 8. Books centred around Halloween: Howl-o-ween (MBTW) and Spooktacular (MSTV).

It's getting hard to come up with similarities isn't it!

Daisy | 1399 comments Hey, I was thinking, a big difference between the two series is that MBTW is a lot more... how do I put this... domestic? When you think about it, Olivia and Ivy have met royalty, been to Hollywood, starred in movies and TV shows, been in (and written for) magazines, become internet sensations, and broken into top secret government offices. In MBTW obviously there's still the supernatural werewolf aspect, but I feel like that's more about ordinary problems and situations. Do you guys think that the events in Tail Spin (them meeting a major movie star {Jackson} and a famous author {Count Vira}) mean that MBTW could be headed in a more adventurous direction, like MSTV? I love the low-key-ness of MBTW but I think seeing Justin and Daniel in more exciting/out-of-the-ordinary situations could be really cool.

Sophie | 1254 comments That's a really interesting point. I don't think the MBTW events you mentioned mean that the series is heading in a more adventurous direction. Justin and Daniel weren't the celebrities they just met a couple of them. However I'm sure at some point something big and out of the ordinary will happen to the twins in MBTW just because reading about normal life (all be it with werewolves) would get a little boring after a while.

Daisy | 1399 comments Thanks. :) Yeah, I guess. I think there's still lots Sienna Mercer can do with these characters and the whole werewolf thing but it would be exciting if something extraordinary happened to them, like you said.

Daisy | 1399 comments 9. Mythical creatures being relieved at not having to hide themselves at Halloween (this was mentioned in Howl-oween {MBTW #3} and Spooktacular {MSTV #17})
