Nelou Keramati (neloukeramati) Hi there,

I just uploaded an updated version of my profile photo. It was added to the previous two (which are identical) and I want to make it my main profile picture without deleting the others.

Help will be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nelou Keramati

Shaun (sponting) | 101 comments Hi Nelou! 👋 Sure — here's how to make an image you've uploaded your profile picture:

1. Navigate to your profile.
2. Click on "more photos" link found just below your current profile picture. Here you should find all the images you've uploaded.
3. Click on the thumbnail of the photo you'd like to make your profile picture. This should then load that image in the area just below the thumbnails.
4. Click the "Make Profile Photo" link found to the right of the image.

Voila! 😊

Hi Shaun! Thank you for your response. I looked but couldn't find any link anywhere on the page that allowed me to set it as my main profile image. I only had the options to delete the photo & edit details.

What am I missing?

Thanks, and happy new year!

Shaun (sponting) | 101 comments Hi Nelou — my apologies! I see you have an author profile and the instructions I gave you were for a user profile (i.e. non-author profile). Uploading a new photo for an author profile is slightly different as the copyright information box needs to be completed.

Here are the steps to update your profile image:

1. Navigate to your author profile and click on "edit author profile" next to your name.
2. On the top right side of the screen, click on "delete/replace photo" to select your photo from your computer.
3. Check the box agreeing that you are the copyright owner of the image and fill in the "Copyright information" box. Since you're the author, you can simply write something along the lines of "I own the rights to this photo" or something similar.
4. Click on "upload photo" beneath the copyright field.

I hope that helps!
